Thanks to Buzz and Ruby for organizing a great day, its a trip that each AFFer should add to their bucket lists.
Thank you for organizing the dinner on the Saturday night it made it an enjoyable weekend.
Great to meet some old AFFers but also nice to meet some new ones as well.

It is really funny to meet AFFers in different locations, some I had met a few weeks ago in Brisbane and others who I hadn't seen for a few months and others that I met for the first time.

Who ever thought of serving a forest with your breakfast is crazy, the food was actually good when it did arrive, once you moved the leaves aside.:p

Buzz and Ruby did an amazing job and, like the others, I really enjoyed the relaxed pace!

Thanks so much for all the hard work in organising such a great event :D

Big thanks to Buzz & Ruby for organising another fantastic tour. I know there are many weekends spent "scouting" and much work behind the scenes to pull this together, so it really is appreciated.

I'm not sure if my liver or credit card took more damage this weekend, but I certainly had a good time.

See you at the next one!

Just to add - I think this tour was exceptional value for money given we had 2 meals included, got to taste some very nice wine, and many of us were dropped at the airport, thus saving taxi / uber / transfer costs. Also about half the group won some form of prize. All this for $105. Sensational.

Which reminds me also - Thank you to Steady, romney, Buzzard, and anyone else who donated prizes. I didn't win anything, but your generosity is certainly appreciated.

Here, here. Yes, much thanks to the prize donors!

A HUGE thank you to Buzz & Ruby for organising another great day. Dinner Saturday night, breakfast, wine tasting, lunch and and another last night we are worn out !!!
Really enjoyed the day and thank you for the prizes. Was great to see everyone and meet some new faces as well. Looking forward to the next event, depending on the date.

Many thanks to Buzz and Ruby for fabulous organisation and to Steady, Romney, and any other prize donors. Excellent day all round (except for Geelong losing, unnamed :( ) and look forward to the next one.

Just want to echo everyone and give a huge thanks to Ruby and Buzz. These tours are fantastic and I can't wait for the next one :)

Thank you, Buzz and Ruby for a wonderful first-ever Barossa/SA wine tour. We had a blast!

Now, about to collapse at home, and crack the bottle of Wolf Blass from the quiz. ;)
Thanks Romney, Steady, and Buzz for the prize donations!!

Romney,
my Google fu just uncovered a Vinomofo page for Wolf Blass Pearl Riesling. There was a comment that it was made for the "burgeoning Chinese market".
Our shiraz cabernet is a but on the sweet side, which probably aligns with it being sold in the Chinese market??

Thank you to everybody that came along and made it a terrific day. Perhaps not my best tour but sometimes you need to try something a little different. Unfortunately it didn't quite work as I had hoped. Never mind, we live learn and move on. Planning has already started on the next tour which will be to Langhorne Creek. A link to a new thread will be posted on this thread. And I promise no music questions but there could be karaoke.

au contraire dear Buzz.
The day was an unqualified success ?
You never cease to amaze on how each tour just gets better than the last.
Thanks to you and Ruby, and thanks to all the AFF'rs who came and made the day a success.
I loved the lunch. That was really tasty, and hit the spot.

Finally made to home (via SYD). Ran into Samh004 and chicka in the J lounge, and they just happened to be in the same row as us going home. Nice need to an AFF weekend.

Thank you, Buzz and Ruby for a great day.

Great to meet the people behind the screen names.

First AFF event and now looking forward to the next one.

That's all I could find too :-) Glad I'm not the only one unable to find the Shiraz Cabernet.
