Can you believe this [No XL PJs in F]

Maybe they should have worn some comfortable clothes just in case.

I find it amusing that there are people who can't stand the "terrible hardship" of having the wrong pajamas. What would happen if they got into some real hardship? A flat tyre with no phone signal, or a Zombie apocalypse?

Which brings up another question. What if you normally sleep in the nude?

Yes life is tough with all these first world problems we must endure... no XL jim jams in F, enhanced Cashews in Qantas snack packs. *sigh* do they not know how we suffer?

Ok, enough BS lets be happy that we live in a peaceful country, we have food in our belly and a roof over our heads - everything beyond that is a bonus.

Im sure the F FAs were breathing a sigh of relief at getting rid of those DYKWIAs! Honestly, stranding yourself overself some cheap cotton PJs...

Good on the captain for telling the passengers the real reason for the delay - the laughing from the rest of the aircraft would have been quite a funny reaction.

But seriously, these 'people' have really got to look at themselves, hopefully the story being made public might have embarassed them enough. I only wished they were named.......

I wonder if they would have flown to Sydney? :p

Utterly brilliant. On my bucket list now!! :p

I love my F pyjamas as much as the next person but seriously this just shows the type of rubbish the FAs have to put up with - I bet these two gave some poor FA a hard time before de-planing. I hope QF has some way of marking their profile as "never to be upgraded/never to be helped out if they're stuck somewhere". I think there should be consequences for holding up an entire plane for something so unbelievably trivial.

If not for the serious tone of the article I'd swear this was an April Fool's joke and one for the AFF readers.

This also deserves a spot on the 'Funny things overheard on a plane' thread.

I was actually no this flight last night!

The Captain come on around 11:30pm (the scheduled departure time) saying that they had a couple of small administration requirements to complete before takeoff.

Around 11:40pm the Captain comes back over the PA to say that the plane is delayed due to 2 passengers needing to be unloaded (no more information was provided at this point)

5 Mins later at about 11:45pm the Captain then informs everyone why the 2 passengers were leaving.

To the ground crews credit the bags were found in about 5 mins so all up the total delay was approx 30mins.

As mentioned in the news. We made up time in the air and actually landed well ahead of schedule

There was another delay on landing as an SQ flight was at our gate

An interesting flight :)
