Unless I'm going blind , there's a field for an email address but not for a phone number in the profile.
There are 3 phone fields further down where you see the provision for email address.

Qantas profile said:
Phone Contacts - At least one phone contact is required (maximum of three)

D'oh, I was thinking it meant my AFF profile :oops:. All the required info. is already in my QFF profile. It's been a long day...

Another great offer...good luck to everyone, and hope whoever is picked enjoys the opportunity.

I think I'm free on March 12 - but I'm not sure you'd be willing to fly me over from London just for lunch even if I won :D

Great offer Red Roo!

I'll be returning from LOTFAP so no good for me :)

But my previous 3 questions from the 2011 lunch all still stand! :)

Good luck to my fellow AFFers wanting to go :)

I however have no interest in another 'talk fest' and would rather see some actual outcomes from Qantas. We already know the basics (and these are not necessarily FF based)...

- statements that credit cards must be produced at the China, Thailand and other selected Asian countries before an award ticket is issued due to 'the law'. Will any QF rep at the lunch actually be interested in solving that?
- refusal to offer confirmed international upgrades at time of booking - can that be solved at the lunch?
- extraordinary fees and charges for award tickets... we already pay fuel surcharges to earn the points in the first place, why do we pay them again to redeem a ticket? Or are you simply devaluing the value of points?
- no interest in priority boarding
- an explanation of why the 'change to the program' notification requirements went from 6 months to 3 months... how does this benefit members? And what are you planning to do in three months that you can't do in six?

Maybe others attending could raise some of these :)

We would like to invite 20 members to have lunch with Lesley Grant (CEO Qantas Loyalty). Winners flights will be included if not from Sydney.

Nice promo :!:

Hypothetically, if I changed my FF profile to be residing in NYC ;) and in the unlikely event I ended up being the 1 of 20 members invited ..... will you fly me all the way to SYD? I know QF108 goes all the way ;)

I didn't think the purpose of the offer was to have a "talk fest", but simply the opportunity to give the lucky 20 a chance to dine in style, enjoy some convivial and "robust" discussion from people who are passionate about flying/travel. So more a reward than anything else. Well, that's how I'd view it if given the chance.

Actually out of the last one we did find out about a bunch of stuff ahead of general release.

I think the payback for QFF was insights on how the program is used by some people. For that we get the payoff of a decent lunch.

interesting point... have you noticed any material changes (enhancements) based on the knowledge Qfff received from that lunch? for example, are asa's harder to get for example? out of interest, what were some of the comments on how people used the program?

If you're looking at sparking the conversation, does that include the conversation from other attendees as well or just from QF loyalty?

What a joy you would be at the lunch!

I would like to say thanks to Red Roo for once again making a very generous offer to the members of AFF (even if Mods are excluded grrr LOL ).

As for the minimum member time rule, its to recognize and reward those who participate in AFF over a period of time thus providing our reps with ongoing feedback good and bad, which is a great thing. Lurkers are always welcome, but dont be afraid to raise what you may thing is a minor complaint or compliment, it may not be so minor to others including our vendors!

Given the lunch is in March, it will be interesting to see how QF has approached the new RBA rules on credit card fees. Hopefully we'll have an end to the set fees and a fairer system based on the actual cost of the ticket. Worth following up if the fees haven't changed.

You can always submit your question to the talk-fest. ;)

What a wonderful offer.

Especially as we have time to consider and it's not just the first 20 people who happened to be on the site at the time. Thanks Red Roo!
