2 km to go and Froome now 1 minute 24 seconds in front.Should be able to hang on.
Nice restaurant on the top floor as well.We then walked to Center Pompidou. After the Louvre we loved this gallery which surprised me. Very quiet, respectful and far from the madding crowd.
I was going to suggest the Picasso gallery and also the Dali one but maybe they are not up your alley. There is also a small Monet gallery which is interesting. So much to see and do. Love the pics too - enjoy the spectacle tomorrow.
Excellent. Was going to ask from where you'd planned to watch the spectacle. We'll be looking out for your AFF banner!Ive worked out we will be in Tuilleries Gardens to see the race. The pelaton circuits 9 times at this area which is the base end of the Champs Elysees. With my super zoom if we can get to Place Concord I will see what kind of blur we can get. We can also walk there from the Hotel so a bonus. This is around 5ish so will need to get there around 2. Wish us luck.
Another vote for Giverny. Fabulous place to visit.Giverny (which I think you meant unless the town has changed its name) is lovely. The tiles in the house's kitchen are from memory interesting - green? but right up to the ceiling. There is also a gallery of American artists in Giverny which I enjoyed.
Good luck staking a claim on a good viewing spot. It will be a bit like the Boxing Day sales melee.
