Chasing the perfect Fuji shot

Then it was lunch in Atlantide.

I began with the soup. Very disappointing and hard to find the vegetables. I then had the tagliatelle and that was good.

Mrsdrron had the chicken Marsala which was OK and the cheesecake. Not really a classic cheesecake.

That night we gave La Terraza a try. It has never been our favourite restaurant. back home most of our Italian restaurants are Sicilian family run. We love them and they are certainly different to La Terraza. Our favourite dishes there in the past were the carpaccio and Osso Bucco. As well they had a lovely gorgonzola for the cheese plate. at times I would just have a plate of the gorgonzola. None of those dishes are on the menu.
So here is the menu.

And the antipasti platter. Despite the menu changes I can't remember any changes to this.

I had the pappardelle and the strip loin. OK but the pasta no better than the Tagliatelle I had for lunc in Atlantide and beef in Atlantide is better.

Mrsdrron had the prawns which were disappointing and the lemon sponge cake.

I had the cheeses platter which was disappointing. Told there was no gorgonzola on the ship. I wonder what they use for those dishes that have gorgonzola mentioned as one of the ingredients. There are quite a few.

Do any of the restaurants have extra payments required?

They do have 2 restaurants that require an upcharge. La Dame which is $US80 per head and is a French restaurant. It used to be worth it but no longer much different so we don't bother. On the Nova and the Ray soon to be launched it is $US160 and comes paired with premium wines. Definitely not worth it for us as Mrsdrron doesn't drink reds.
The Japanese restaurant is $US40 per head. On the Moon and the dawn it isn't worth it but on the Muse it is Teppanyaki and we believe it is worth it.
