Some drama in the last 24 hours. Yesterday in Kobe after going through Immigration mrsdrron slipped and fell hitting her head pretty hard. She was swollen over the left eye as well as eggs on both knee caps. so we went straight back to the ship where she laid down with a cold washer over her left eye. No bruising has occurred and today her temple looks normal. Sore knees but she had brought 2 knee braces with her and they are controlling the pain well.

Today we have just been told the ship is turning around and proceeding to the nearest Japanese port to offload a medical emergency. Earlier the medical team had been called to the spa.

Wouldn't be a proper drron TR without some sort of drama.

Now we had a week driving around Okinawa a few years ago. Fortunately one of the tours featured 2 places we had not been to. The Okinawa Prefectual Museum and the Shinkinaen Royal Garden. We had tried to visit the Garden but couldn't find a parking spot anywhere near it. A statue at the port entrance.

And some exhibits outside the museum.

Yes she is feeling much better apart from sore knees. Was a sea day today but we are planning on being out in Hiroshima tomorrow.
Exciting trivia with the Japanese Coastguard boarding a few people to enable the patient to be winched into the chopper.

So the little detour we did this afternoon.
