Hi folks, I couldn't find another thread for my question...it seems SIN is the best option to purchase JW black. Does anyone recall prices for JW blue or similar? The larger the better.

$256 for 1l in Feb this year.

Currently in Mauritius and the Airport Duty Free price for 2 x 1 Litre bottles of JW Black €43 = $30.50 AUD ea.

Last Saturday in MEL T2 departures, I could not even find JW Black - they had whole diplays of "Double Black" though.

At SIN, it was SGD47.60 - Double Black was 48.80 ...

I am thinking Nuance are trying to promote the double at the expense of the original.

At OR Tambo JNB today 1Litre JW Black is ZAR 339 = AUD 34.80

JW DBL Black 1 Litre AUD 44.00

Surely, with weaker AUD, the prices of JW Black (and Dbl Black) would be competitive in SYD? How about BKK?

um can you buy some coke aswell....need the old share price to increase ;)

Agree with SIN - also found TPE can sometimes be pretty good for Whiskey.

Yep I can agree with this, the Taiwanese are really into their whiskey so the range available is quite impressive, especially if you like things from the higher shelves. Will look more closely when I'm at TPE next week and report back. I did get 1L of Bombay Sapphire Gin there for NT$700 (A$25) last month. Currently appears to be A$35 at MEL.

Not so good with JW Blue. $302 for a litre at TPE Vs $155 for 700 ml at Dans.

.... not as good as it used to be ... alough it seems JW are not promoting Black Label as much these days - looking to flog more "premium" stuff such as "Double Black".
