CheckMyTrip Update - No more desktop access or ticket numbers

Dredging up an old thread - tripcase wont take manual entry by res code, don’t feel email forwarding is particularly secure way of sending info but appears to be only option for non-Sabre bookings.

Will it then give updates on QF (Amadaeus) bookings (if sent to tripcase by email)? Or will it be no better than Qantas app?

If not suitable, what other options are AFFers using now?

TripCase seems to work reasonably well with Amadeus reservations. Usually gate info and live status updates.

You can manually had QF flights - I’ve created a Test itinerary and manually added QF details using “Flight”. I’ll see how it goes compared with the Trip using email confirmation - expect the same.

TripCase served me pretty well on a QF ticketed OWA on a variety of OW airlines a couple of months ago. I can’t remember if I manually added flights or but the bullet and used the email option - which I’m also slightly wary of

FYI. My QF flight to MEL today had the same updates (in app and email) for the manually entered and emailed in details.

Looks like CMT display again the ticket number when available, as well as no ticket number where the flight needs ticketing
Where/how are you seeing that?

I had noticed a bunch of app updates coming through purporting to add functionality etc.

Android app, I just re installed ot today to see if any change. Appantly last update was 12 dec.
Once I add a trip (which may require updating the first name, to match reservation name, for example to include middle names), I have the trip card. Clicking on the trip card display more details, including tcket number or ff number, for each leg of the trip.

Nothing extra showing on iOS version (except the new "Check-in" button).

I deleted and reinstalled the app. Deleted and resent a bunch of reservations - no significant changes that I can see...

+1 for seeing the ticket number on Android

Update - Added another itinerary (via QF eticket email) and no ticket number. First itinerary was added via quoting reloc (QF/AY - that is Amadeus orginating)and does show ticket number.

After updating app on iOS I can see the ticket number but I don't believe it is live, I think it's the ticket no when booking was imported. I've had a few time changes and re-ticketings over the past week and it shows an old ticket no and the old flight times until I add the booking ref again, then it updates.

I think it the same place as before, selecting the trip from the main page.

Agreed, one out of 6 PNRs accepted by quoting the reloc, the rest accepted by email. The one that did work shows the ticket number. A bit ordinary.

Same experience - 1 QF PNR accepted and shows correct details, no other PNRs accepted so far.

tried 4 other pnr's and the only one that works is a DONE4 issued by AA....no other QF ticket pnr recognized so altogether useless

I’ve found it very sensitive to matching exactly the name entered on each booking. For some I need my middle name initial for some no middle name or initial. Adjusting the profile name each time to match the ticket and then entering the PNR works for me.

There doesn’t seem to be any monitoring and updating of bookings. Some trips have old seat references that were changed 2 months ago, flight time changes not updated etc.

To see the eticket numbers I had to delete and re-add the trips. Overall it’s still pretty useless
