CheckMyTrip Update - No more desktop access or ticket numbers

I thought CMT was dead / abandoned ever since the disastrous March 2023 update - I certainly uninstalled it and haven't looked back.

Some of the functionality has come back to CMT - it does now show ticket numbers, seat numbers, etc. It does automatically update with gate numbers at the airport. Unfortunately it doesn't update in real time for things like schedule changes.
 
Ticket numbers was the big thing - if it updates in semi-real time can still help against QF incompetence dropping flights for lack of ticketing
 
Tried loading up several trips and so far only one QF SYD-MEL (return) worked by sending the confirmation email… But it showed the eTicket but no seats…. I’ll try manually adding others later but that was pretty hit and miss after the major “enhancement”.

Managed to load them all. Helps if I use the correct email address! 😳

The first went out correctly and the rest picked up a historically and wrong email address…(now deleted from history).

We’ll see if it’s of any use and maybe timely with the TripCase app being pulled soon.
 
Upgrade the CMT app at your own peril! I clearly didn't learn my lesson of two years ago and, now that they've lulled me into a false sense of security, once again, all saved trips are no longer visible (and probably lost) and I can't even add new ones anymore, even with messages indicating success. Well done Amadeus, you've made a sucker of me yet again.

The update pushed through for me and I’m seeing the exact same thing - existing trips gone and the most essential function of being able to add new trips simply doesn’t work.

Luckily I don’t use this as a primary app. But how this team continues to push out absolute garbage release after another is some feat.
 
Yep, no trips in mine.

But I did resend some trips and via app pop ups, it claims to have successfully added them BUT nothing displayed….

The one positive thing is they’ve restored login via email/password and not just OTP….

I was able to access CMT on my browser again. But no trips there either. Looks like this new app version is just loading the web version. Which explains why the formatting is coughe. Well, the whole thing is coughe…

But my iPad still has the old version and is now showing all my trips….
 
I logged into CMT on web using my existing email and my app trips loaded up automatically. E-ticket numbers visible and no need to use the chat bot to add trips any more. Looks like a good update to me.

I finally managed to fix this issue myself by going to Profile > Delete Account, and recreating it again from scratch. Now I can add and view trips successfully.

I contemplated doing that. I deleted a dupe account and will try that on the main.

Still weird that the new app showed heaps of popups each time I sent an email, CMT added the trip, sometimes specifically your trip to XYZ is ready. Plus some quite specific alerts about turning on “auto check in” for specific flights. Weird.
 
The issue I have is that trips aren’t updated when changes are made. I have to delete the trip then add it again to have the new details (including ticket number) reflected.
 
I have it “working” on two devices and website. Not sure it’s better or worse TBH…
