One drowned explorer rat is home & DT. Room 202 be there in a minute with glasses...just as soon as I dry off.

Room 202 your not home. Left a gift. Off to the bar I go.

Looks like the consensus is that rather than the bar opposite the restaurant we will do pre dinner drinks at the DT bar and then head to the restaurant. Anyone not at the DT is welcome !!

What time will you all be heading over to the restaurant? Still worth coming over?

Maybe I should've stayed out after all? :) Just got back to wondering why everybody from the hotel, and the one next door, were out on the streets… oh bloody fire alarm of course!

What a great meal and awesome company.

Thank you to everyone for coming along and making it such a great night. We had 23 in the end.

And thanks to Curator's House for being so accomodating.

Discussions about next year have already begun!

BC & JT

Thanks to BC and JT for organising yet another great function. A most enjoyable time had by all. Curator's House, even as a default location, was an excellent choice.

Settled into the Manaia lounge with a few others awaiting our Emirates chariot home.

A fabulous dinner and weekend. Thanks BC and JT!

Thank you for your hard work organising, BC & JT. I had a lot of fun and can't wait for the next one (I'll ensure to be on the party plane *& hotel)
also thank you ALH, GPH and CHCHKIWI for your hospitality!

Thank you blackcat20 and JessicaTam for organising the event, and how well organised it was!

It was definitely a lot of fun – great to see some familiar faces, and a pleasure to meet so many more of you. Thanks also ALH & GPH for being so especially warm and welcoming!

I'll admit my first thought when I looked out the window this afternoon was "I hope they loaded enough champagne", followed by "wait, why am I over here?!". ;)

For anyone still in Christchurch, there is an Air New Zealand 75 Years temporary exhibit at the Canterbury Museum you may be interested in, if you haven't seen it already. I didn't have much time before my NZ flight (hah!) but thought it was worth checking out for the old ads alone. There were interesting artefacts from early cabins, and uniforms as well. (It's where the coughpit Ewing spotted is too.)

Thank you organisers. Off to sunny Auckland today. Then home to Melbourne in a few days. Tim Clark has promised me a good seat on his big silver bird.

Great to meet everyone. Had a very enjoyable first AFF DO. Thanks to JT and BC for all the organising. Really looking forward to the next one.

Just in the CHC NZ lounge .... I think I'm last to leave . "Last call for the 2017 event" Thanks to the organising committee and I look forward to 2018.

Thanks so much to JT & BC for organising such a great night. Thanks to everyone I met this weekend and to all the old friends as well. Any Trans Tasman flights are going to seem so boring in future without the outrageous buddies I've travelled with this weekend.
