I had a look at QF139 $840 from SYD-CHC in J; all the $460 fares have been used.
Although pricing BNE-SYD-CHC in J was only $849.00 which I could live with.

Unfortunately the sale didnt cover connections from Melbourne, though we booked some months ago at a competitive price under DSC so Im not worried.

We're saving our QF points for a couple of big trips next year, so didn't see the point in splurging for J on such a short leg.

Unless you had access to a double SC's offer .
