I may be especially dim today, but where do I find the pending list? I've clicked and scrolled around the Velocity website but can't see it.
They've made it more difficult now, since eStores weren't moved to the new web UX and the SSO doesn't work between them.

So:

  1. go to Shop online and earn Velocity Points for Virgin Australia travel
  2. log in (near right of red menu bar)
  3. under [My eStore] choose [View eStore transaction activities]
  4. pending stuff should appear at the top of the list (descending date order), with empty circles under Status (circles are filled for completed transactions)

I see mine under the “approved” button. But not actually credited.

If the spend happens before the end of the promo but the Velocity points accrued by the spend haven't hit your account will you still meet the criteria for the bonus points?

Autobarn and a book I purchased from the V store points haven't hit yet and that spend was a few weeks ago.

I received the 2 points from my $1.00 Autobarn purchase, sometime from Saturday onward. There is still no sign of my Wilson Parking points.
What date did you spend the 1 at Autobarn?
Just spoke to Wilson to follow-up on my missing points and the guy insisted they were within the 35-day service level and there's no problem. I guess I'll just have to call and remind them again in a couple of weeks.
I did a book-a-bay 10 days ago for an overnight Saturday park.

The points posted Today with a transaction date of the 16th (yesterday).

If something is marked as approved, wait 2 business days (you normally see the next business day) for the points to credit. If the points don't credit you will then need to email or call Velocity.

Yes you will meet the criteria. eStore points take 30 days to credit.

As per Bagpuss #267 it is based on Activty Date.

If you look at your points Activity page in your Velocity Profile you will note that there are two columns: Activity Date (ie the date you spent) and Process Date (ie the date you get the points)

Updated Virgin Wines offer: Virgin Wines - Special Offer

ORDER NOW to receive 12 handcrafted wines plus 5,000 bonus Velocity Points for a special price of just $140 plus FREE delivery.

Interesting, sounds like the previous offer but they've dropped the champagne and glasses and increased the bonus points by 2,000.

My Autobarn points have credited, purchased instore on the 21st Nov, credited into my account on the 12th December.

2 points were received 15/12-16/12 for a $1.00 in-store Autobarn transaction on 25/11.

Points are still outstanding for a Wilson Book-a-Bay booking made 26/11 and with the parking actually taking place 30/11.

Ok, so about 21 days ... matches my experience.

My Autobarn purchases were 2nd December, so maybe a Christmas present. :)

So they hit her account and were sent straight to mine. Do you think this will register as one of the 5 required spends or would it be a safer option to unlink our family pooling and send another 2000 pts which can sit in her account till the 10,000 (hopefully) arrive.
It should register as a transaction on your wife's account first before pooled to your account.

Is there any reason I can't do this for a 2 year old's account?

Did something similar, except instead of Skybus I bought something at Autobarn for under $2.

Also, in case anyone was wondering if it would work, I got the following email from estore within 24 hours of making the donation to Starlight:

"Dear xx_,

Our retailer, Starlight Children’s Foundation, has informed us that you made a transaction with them on 1 Dec 2018. As a result you have Velocity Points pending.

Once verified by Starlight Children’s Foundation, your Points will be approved and loaded to your Velocity Account within 30 days of purchase.

With over 200 local and international retailers on the eStore, you can earn even more Points by shopping with your favourite brands"

No email from estore for me but did get email from Starlight confirming the donation immediately after on 15th December.
Nothing in the estore pending list either :(

As a Mac user I swapped to Chrome after seeing the notification about Safari issue, so it looks like I am still 1 short on getting the bonus.

How do you get scan your velocity card at BP?

The 2 stores I've tried can't scan the QR code off my phone, I don't have a physical velocity card

Is there any other option or do I need a physical plastic card?

As far as I know you need a physical card. You can pick up a temporary card and link that to your account.

So a temporary BP card picked up in store (free?) - then linked to my Velocity will do the job?

Looks like off to BP tomorrow to pick up 3 cards :D
