Christmas Bonus Of Up To 10,000 Velocity Points (2018)

Anyone else contacted Autobarn for missing points? We have two transactions bought online, picked up items and cards swiped and receipts (that had printed you have received the points) so...ofc no idea where those receipts are now!!

When we picked the items up and split the transactions the assistant asked if it was for the Velocity promotion - and was a bit amused by it all. Our purchase was from 3 Jan and I am feel 8 weeks of patient waiting is quite long enough.

I wouldn’t call yet. I think it was up to 12 weeks until they paid in the T&C. My nephew is still in dispute with one merchant (Sendle) about his 2k points owed as a sign up bonus, which will net an extra 5k points in this.

So, after much effort and follow up, the Sendle 2,000 points have posted for my Nephew - activity date of 28 December listed. I’m hoping this will be recorded as the fifth spend, as the actual points from the Sendle parcel postage haven’t appeared. I don’t want to have to chase them again...

I’m ready for the 10,000 points to post now!

Not sure how long they are meant to take to post. I also bought something online early January and followed up with Autobarn mid February. They were very responsive to the online contact form and resolved the issue within a few business days. I had an order number that I referred them to and that seemed to work.

12 Weeks from the end of the promotion, which I think makes it around early April.

Terms seem clear on this and what has been previously stated was I thought also clear. Do not expect points until April.

It has, Dr Ralph, many times.

This thread has turned into 30+ pages of people wonder where and when their points will turn up.

Read T&Cs folks and show some patience.

To be fair, the first 25 pages were trying to get qualifying points out of the various retailers.

Terms seem clear on this and what has been previously stated was I thought also clear. Do not expect points until April.

Considering:

1) that it’s a “Christmas” bonus;
and
2) the spend had to be by 8 January,

I’d have thought that the bonus could be calculated by now.

I had just assumed Velocity had stuffed up crediting as frequently happens and thus my post here.

And a quick glance of this thread just seemed to be people not having retailers credit the points required to get the bonus — an issue I didn’t have.

Velocity also need to allow for retailers who have different T & C's regarding returns and the issue of refunds. This will affect the final result

I have received all my points from 6 retailers out of the 10 listed.

Autobarn, On Sport, Fly Buys, Sendle, BP & Wilson Parking.

I was on the phone to VFF anyway so I thought I would ask the question once I had her there.

She could see I made all the qualifying purchases for the 10k bonus and stated that from 26th March onwards points will be credited.
