Ah that's why I'm reading all the posts about minimum spend.

May try to do same for wife's and daughter's account. Silly question but would they still earn these bonus points even if family pooled to me?

Not a silly question. I realised I had pooling in place for initial spends and wondered the same thing. Have lodged a query and waiting to hear back.

I'd be mighty unimpressed if pooled points didn't count. The points were still earned at the partners.

If I buy a Skybus ticket eg Avalon Geelong Express oneway is $10, and don't take it, will I still get the Velocity points? :)

edit: you only seem to be able to enter your Velocity #, if you select Melbourne airport to City ($17.50 one way!)...when i do a dummy booking for the $10 route mentoned above, there is no box to enter your Velocity number. Any one know more?

Certainly you get the points within 24 hours if you purchase with a Velocity Number irrespective of when (or if) you use the ticket.

However, seems it's only valid for "Melbourne City Express or Southbank Docklands Express" services.

So I have been scratching around the last 24 hours to find the 5th bonus partner for this promo for +1...looking at buying wine, sending a parcel to myself via Sendle, buying a Skybus ticket that i would not be using....when out of the blue, +1 mentions that she has her own Flybuys account!!! WHAT!!?? ...after she manages to find the card, I reset the PW and login to find out she has 11000 FB pts!!!...so TFd 10000 (with 15% bonus) to her Velocity account and the 5 partners will be done for this promo when I next fill petrol at BP and scan her (old) Velocity card. All these years I thought she was scanning a FB card attached to my account!!!!

There is an offer this week in the Coles Catalogue about buying Gift Cards (eBay, virgin Aus, etc...) and getting 2000 bonus points.

Good if you were going to spend the cash anyway but have a gift card instead..

I have completed my five transactions on my account.

Now for my wife's. I will do the same 4 purchases as I did with mine but for the 5th can I transfer Flybuys from my Flybuys account into her Velocity account?

Still havent receieved my points from a purchase at the e store 2 weeks back. Not sure how long it can take.

Think about all those lost SC's ...

With Family Pooling we regularly get more that 10 SC's per month into to the one account.

You have to unlink yours, then link hers (Velocity account). For me, that involved a phone call to flybuys and was only possible because wife had her own Flybuys account. I've since unlinked hers and relinked mine.

And I was told that I couldn't link my kids Velocity accounts because they had no flybuys account, which they can get because they're not 16.

My Wilson Parking points hit (booked for yesterday parking) but not my Autobarn from Friday yet.

I use to work for Wilson Parking, they had a team of accountants/analysis'. I wonder if its trigged with them yet why they are having an increase in no shows with Velocity accounts.

I've done:
Wilsons parking (last Friday, no points posted yet)
Autobarn (last Sunday, no points yet)
BP (Sunday, points posted today)
Estore (last Wednesday, no points yet)

Just figuring out my final one... I credit my flybuys to my mums account so that's out. I was thinking onsport for a hat or socks but their website is giving me the irrits. The $15 hat or socks I want aren't listed as out of stock, but the socks page just links to an error and the hat page wants me to choose a colour and size when I've already chosen a colour an size. I thought if I waited until after the weekend they'd be able to fix up stock inconsistencies or error links, but obviously not. Now since I'm irritated with them, I'm thinking maybe I'll check out another retailer instead. So then I went to Virgin Wines and looked at a set of stemless wine glasses in their gift section, which I need, but they're $40 when the rrp on those same glasses is about $26. Just... can't... justify... it...

Why are these companies so frustrating when I'm trying to game the system!

Well their Adelaide car parks appear to have gone up by a dollar or so since I first looked

Just got an email from Velocity you can now earn 2000 Velocity points for signing up to Sendle.

Ok well, 2000 points worth $20-40 or more. So sign up and send parcel to ownself or partner, can buy points at very cheap rate, and 1 participating retailer for this promotion.
