Here ends my photos from my phone. Some more to follow from my camera when I get home. Others may have photos to add later.

Good time had by all. Thanks to Matt, Charlie, the loco crews & everyone who attended.

AAA+++ will buy again.

And the gwilli crew are all now tucked in bed at the Diplomat ....lights out ....goodnight

Quote of the trip involved the best tip eva for getting past security, especially those "stuck up straight" security types. Needless to say the advice was given at the end of a very long day.

Nighty night.

Thanks to everyone who came along.

Great day, we raised $2600 for the Salvos. I'm really pleased with you guys and the generous contributions made.

It was a pleasure to have you on board.

Matt
Ps, safely showered and in bed at the Diplomat, on the noon QF flight to Sydney with Elyce and Charlie.

Thanks again for coming.

Ding Ding Ding Ding ... Hit the jackpot ...I have not 1 , but 2 snorers . Got to love family :-)

My gamble to alight at Queanbeyan paid off. Cab arrived within 2 minutes and home at 00:26. Hope you all enjoy what Canberra has to offer on a Sunday morning.

So my bag turned up the hotel strapped to MartinMemo. Cheers.
Matt, Elyce, Charlie, train and AFF crew thank you for a eternally memorable day. Wow just wow!

I may not be a huge user of this forum but I do want to express my thanks to Matt, Bruce, CFCLS (apologies if that's the wrong way round) and others involved in organising the train trip - it was brilliant.
Delays at the midnight end of the crawl were just that and the only place any of us had to go was bed so it was not a problem.
Thanks again and I look forward to carrying the bags again another day for "major".
See you all then!

Everyone involved in making yesterday happen, thank you so much!

It's the kind of thing I'm going to remember for a long time!

It was brilliant to put a lot of names to faces!

Very slowly eating a CP brekky now, I don't think I'm going to get $30 of value out of it this morn

What a great day - despite the huge night before, and against all of your advice, I did end up out last night. Puppysparks and I emptied every mini bar in the hotel. Canberra cabs, despite my warning phone call advising 200 people were about to land at the terminal failed to send any cabs - lucky for me the Novotel stayers were VIP and got the first 2. Poor puppy could get an upgrade (because I pushed in front of him and
took it) but Irwin and I enjoyed out king balcony corner suite.

A very, very big thank you to Matt, his beautiful partner, and his excellent bar staff (yes, even including drewbles who really showed how bar service is done, despite not being a drinker) and another shout out to all great people in the J lounge car. Look forward to seeing you all again, I'm leaving Puppysparks in his not upgraded room in the dark, he will likely miss his flight, and grabbing a coffee before a very early breakfast at the VA lounge. I'll see the few of you going there in there, otherwise, see you in OOL in Feb.

Good morning from Rydges Lakeside. I was offered a later check out but I've got an appearance in the Vlounge before my flight.

If anyone's in the CBR Vlounge, please warn them I'd like hot dogs & I haven't eaten.

It's just as well I don't drink or I wouldn't have been to provide the excellent service I did ;)

I'm not sure what this cushion is used for but I want one. It would be really good in a pillow fight!

I believe we are scared for life ;)

And regarding that conversation, i've definitely seen some people embarrassed at the security queue whilst (unknowingly) carrying out said tip. The face spoke a thousand words =)
