I see, my name has also been entered as Surname,Firstname,MR. I've since changed it to MR FIRSTNAME SURNAME, however on my QFF card it is shown as MR F SURNAME. Now i'm wondering if it should 100% match the card

The advice on page five of this thread is correct, I would refer you to that since it that is how my account was configured and I received the points without a hitch.

thanks, will wait and see at the end of the statement cycle if it goes through!

This must be the most incompetent and infuriating application process I've ever gone through. I submitted a payslip as part of my application and requested a balance transfer. Received an email asking me to submit something called 'balance transfer proof'. Called up, got bounced around three or four different departments, nobody knew what that meant, asked me to call back the next day. Called back, they asked me to submit a statement of the credit card I wanted to balance transfer. They then asked me to submit payslips. But I've already done that, I said. No, no record of them. They then asked to confirm details, and proceeded to read out the wrong address, and asked me for my drivers license number which I'd already provided.

For those who've applied and have been asked to supply pay slips, how many were you asked for? The last two? The last three months?
Two payslips. I gave them the most recent and one that was s couple of months old.

I applied. On the last page it said I needed to provide two months of payslips but in the automated it said only the last two.

I've taken copies of every step of the process and I'm prepared for a fight if need be.

I notice the thread title is an annual fee of $149 but the offer I've signed on for is 70k QFF plus a $395 annual fee, reduced to $99 for the first year.

You forgot to add the $50 for enrolling in the QFF reward programme charged by Citibank.

Welcome to Citibank. We're happy to waste your time and frustrate you.

how long does it take for the card to arrive? I got an email and TXT msg on Monday its been approved but so far no card in mail.

cool thanks.

been reading through the thread, is there anyone else that had issues activating the QFF program and link to their QFF account after calling up to activate the card ? or is it working all ok ?

I activated the card online, then called to enrol for the QFF program. Was the most confusing sequence of options on the IVR I've ever come across...

Yes. And there were MANY others as well I think.

ok so how can I tell when I log in to Citibank online that I am enrolled in the Qantas program? I activated my card online and then rang to enroll in the QFF program which they did over the phone and were 100% sure its done deal.

so how can I tell when I log in ?

It took me a while to find it too, but once you log in to Citibank Online, at the top of the page in the blue navigation bar click "Rewards" between Services and Offers. Then you select Modify Details and it should have your qantas details there.

The jury is still out for me. I was wary based on Dr Ralph's advice. My application, card activation etc went smoothly.

My QF points did not post after the first statement. Citi proactively tried twice to call me about it but I was in meetings etc. When I did speak to a CSA, she gave me the date and a reference number for their transfer to QF.

I called QF who confirmed the points were rejected because Citibank had HallidayCaptainMr as my surname, but no first name or title. My QFF number was correct. Now, one might argue QF had sufficient details to credit the points and was being pedantic by rejecting them. Still they sent me back to Citibank.

The Citibank CSA checked and updated my details and said the points would post on the next statement cycle. I'm yet to reach that date. She also offered 500 points for the inconvenience. While I think Citibank should have entered my details correctly the first time, I do understand that mistakes happen. Their service recovery has been good so far and.

Assuming the points post at the end of this month I'll be happy. If not, I might sign up to Dr Ralph's anti-Citi squad. :)
An update on this. My billing cycle has concluded and my 70,000 bonus point posted along with standard points. I noticed the 500 points offered as a make good are nowhere to be seen.

For those in the threaded with issues with names not matching QFF, mine is listed as Title Firstname Surname, (so Mr Captain Halliday) and my points posted without an issue.

Not sure if you've seen my previous posts but it's simple enough to avoid ever using their phone system by using the secure messaging within their online banking portal

so I made a transaction yesterday but I dont see my points balance go up when I log in ? does it take more than few days ?

You can also edit your Qantas FF details in the online banking under rewards program. Similar to many others my name was in the wrong order, I changed it and the points posted fine.

what order should be the name in ? can you pls let us know ? thanks

mine said exactly like this (including the commas) setup by Citibank :

LASTNAME,FIRSTNAME,MR

I changed it to (no commas)

MR FIRSTNAME LASTNAME

is this correct?
