Coke Zero -> Coca-Cola No Sugar

There is no date for release of CNS in the USA. They are keeping Zero for the time being. That's my understanding.

I miss Coke Zero but feel that Coke No Sugar is very similar.

One thing I've noticed though is the quench from a can is much better than that from a glass bottle. Is that to do with the temperatures being different?

Was in NYC recently. Coke Zero still freely available. No one stocked Coke no sugar.

From what I understand, Coca Cola has no intention of removing Coke Zero from the USA market.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall Coke saying that the change to Coke No Sugar in Australia was being forced upon them by their US parent company and that the whole world was getting rid of Coke Zero.

My interpretation was that we, in Oz, were too stupid to realise that Coke Zero actually meant zero sugar content, so they changed it to No Sugar so as we would get the no sugar bit.

Apparently based on market research (for what it's worth) claiming that Australians did not generally connect Zero as being sugar-free, so a more obvious name was created?

Edit: However, it seems that the average person in the USA knows all about Coke Zero being sugar-free. ;)

I drank Coke Zero (not often) but cannot drink Coke No Sugar. There is a noticeable taste difference and how I feel after drinking it.

Last two times I’ve tried, majority of can was thrown away.

I don't know the current state of play in the US, but what we call Coke No Sugar is called Coke Zero Sugar in the US.

Coke Zero Sugar replaced Coke Zero in the U.S.

The joys of branding :)

No aircon for us last night, not even a fan! Talk about stifling.

Thats what we were told at Coke World in Atlanta....a place where TAB is still available and they have a room with about 100 Cokes for you to go crazy over

It's just Coke Zero in NYC not Coke Zero Sugar. No replacement. At least not yet.
