Coles gift card offers

You're not with AGL by chance. They offer 5% off if you have electricity/gas account.

Other options are unionshopper or entertainment book.

unionshopper only have red Coles card . Agl doesn't take Amex(according to bro in law who has it) If this is wrong please let me know. I can get a entertainment book , but thought they only do wishcards and dj cards?

Bummer re: union shopper and I'm not with AGL so you'll need someone else to confirm/deny if you don't trust you BIL.

Happy to help out with anyone wanting to buy discounted Coles giftcard as I have access to 5% discount. Not sure if I'm allow to post here but PM me if anyone is interested.

Nightelves what denominations do those 5% off Coles cards issue? I had them turn up as $50 ones which took ages to print off to save $2.50 on each one.....Can you get them in $500s?

how hard is to buy a coles myer card with a coles gift card?
I've read that over zealous employees will stop you if you try.
Does self serve checkout allow it?

cheers

Well it is against the terms and conditions so 'doing their job', rather than 'over zealous' staff will stop you.

It will require approval and staff intervention at self service.

I do this frequently at self serve stations. Don't show them the method by which you are paying.

Do they need to come over and do something, then they let you pay?

cheers

Not for fixed value cards. You're on your own for these. But they do wander around looking at what you are doing.

For the non fixed value cards it requires their intervention. I don't have my method of payment visible until they leave.

For those thinking of ways to use their Pink Coles Pre Paid Gift Mastercards - I just used 19 of these in separate online transactions to pay for my private health insurance. AMEX wasn't accepted as a payment option, so this was a great way to save 5+% on a very large bill.

I only have a couple of pink cards left now.

I've only got a couple left too after prepaying Elec/gas, Foxtel and Internet! I'm excited to not get any bills for a while

Now if only I could pay my car rego in multiples of $100

They were only available in $50 denominations,

This has been the case since they shifted to paper based gift cards. When you could purchase the plastic cards you could get up to $500 on one card. $50 is a real pain in the backside as you must print each one separately.

If anyone knows how to get coles myer group or officeworks giftcards at 5% "easily" - (happy to pay to be member of some organization if that's the case - but not if you need to be employed by xx_X or be with xx_XX group for power etc ) message me, we need to chat!

As has been indicated previously, the 'easiest' method is via AGL rewards. Switch your gas or electricity to AGL and you can access many discounted gift cards. I don't believe an easier method exists.
