May I ask what people say to staff if staff inform them that they can't pay for the Coles mastercards with other Coles mastercards.
Do you just politely point out that the T&C's state gift cards.
Once the staff catches you I don't think there is any point arguing. I would just pay with a normal credit card and move on.
I try to avoid this situation in the first place by being discreet. I don't pull out the card from my wallet until the very last second when I need to swipe it.
Don't engage. Walk away. Go to another store or come back when the staff member's shift has ended. But don't draw any attention to what you are doing.May I ask what people say to staff if staff inform them that they can't pay for the Coles mastercards with other Coles mastercards.

The big Canberra online store at 0.2% is the one that will risk getting into least troubleIs anyone aware of a store or method which would allow personal redemption at less than 3.3%+30c? DM if preferred
Exactly what I do. Well I’ve actually only had one staff member mention it in all the times this promo has been run but yes, I just said no problem and paid with my CC.
That's the way to do it. Well played.Had my 2nd ever staff member tell me I can’t use an existing gift card to buy these this morning. Was paying for the last two $100 cards in the store with a $250 card. I’d already swiped so just continued and entered the pin as she was telling me. Then apologised and said I didn’t know that and wouldn’t do it next time. Took the 2 $100 cards and left.
Me too. Checkout bloke said they had found another box, including some yellowsVery curiously 2 stores where there were no cards on Friday (either on the shelf, at the service desk or in the cupboard behind the shelf) all had a decent number of $100 cards on the shelf yesterday.
So if you are passing today it might be worth another look in store...
How do you get the 50,000 if you can only buy a maximum of 5 cards per account? It looks like the highest denomination is $200 which x 5 = 20,000 points.
Traditionally, this has been per transaction (I think?). Multiple transactions would be required to hit 50k points. How do you get the 50,000 if you can only buy a maximum of 5 cards per account? It looks like the highest denomination is $200 which x 5 = 20,000 points.
There’s a variable card which you pick the amount to fill up to $500. It’s not pictured here thoughHow do you get the 50,000 if you can only buy a maximum of 5 cards per account? It looks like the highest denomination is $200 which x 5 = 20,000 points.
