Yes it did! I went back to Coles this am, and they said they couldn't help and I needed to call Coles Customer Care (1800 061 562)
. The gentleman I spoke to was most helpful and told me these issues do happen from time to time; he asked me to email (
[email protected]) a scanned copy of my Coles receipt and front / back of Gift Card which I have now done. Hopefully he said it should be sorted out in my favour but it needs to be investigated....hopefully this post helps others who find themselves in my position. In future I will check balances of all GCs I purchase even if it means scratching the back to reveal the pin BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY KEEP THAT RECEIPT till you fully redeem the GC!!
