I should have called QF from the DJ lounge, couldn't get an earlier flight home, but the lounge Angel tried her best, put me on wait list but then came and found me 20 mins later to say the cabin is now full :) good service

Thanks to everyone for a most memorable day - just a shame the Flounge time flew by so quickly!

It was great meeting all those AFFers I have not had the pleasure of catching up with as yet and also renewing old acquaintances.

Shame we cannot join you all for dinner but the Virgin lounge rounded off our afternoon nicely;)

Well here I am. Stuck at Avalon airport waiting for the 2215 flight to Brisbane. WTF. If I had gone with Fuzzyaus I would have been on his flight to Brisbane. Just missed out on a QF flight because I was drinking with you lot in the Virgin lounge. All right get your thinking caps on, what am I entitled to for a 4.5 hour delay. Stranded at Brisbane airport at midnight with no public transport. can't hire a car because I have been drinking all day.!! I knew that bit on my itinerary about meal Yes would come in handy. I asked at Avalon and they gave me a voucher for $10 for a meal. Enjoying cough pizza and a bad red at the moment. The check in staff said to go to the service desk at Brisbane for starnded passenger assistance. I bet no one there at midnight.
