AFF crashed when I tried to post this before... was a bit paranoid that CIA/ASIO might be behind it ;)

Anyway, conclusive proof that I am not superstitious or nervous when flying - A flight on Air Koryo, on 9/11, in seat 13A!

No 14: Following on from No 12 - number 14 lock in a flight of 16 locks raising the Peak Forest Canal 209 feet over a distance of one mile. (Lock number 15 is in the distance.)

Hehe, great thread!

I had a sneaky # 15, but was too slow:

So here's 16 taken during one of those more glamourous moments of a trip ... doing the laundry.

Oh, I wanted 22. But you got 23 and 24 as well.

No worries you take 22 & I'll take 23......so we now need 24 & here it is.

Actual VC's awarded to John Chard VC & Robert Jones VC - Rorke's Drift 1879. 2nd Battalion, 24th Regiment South Africa......The movie Zulu was based on this action.

Photo taken last month at the Imperial War Museum, London

The No 24 is placed bottom left hand corner - not as clear on the smaller uploaded photo.

The item below the VC's is a paper knife from a blade of a Zulu spear....it was made by Lieutenant Gonville Bromhead (played by Michael Caine)

Hehe, love the caution sign!

Well, it's getting harder!

Here's 27 - from the departures board in the SYD first lounge. I was waiting for QF11 on the way to Salt Lake City.

Bunk of an overnight train from Beijing to Shanghai... afraid that's the only printed sign I could find while digging in my collection

...
The below image is slightly more interesting although the number's not printed - speedometer as soon as from the back seat of my transfer to EZE.

It's only interesting when compared to another shot taken at the beginning of my holiday when being transferred from EZE to the hotel, in wet road conditions  (I did make it safely though)
