Delicious! Glad we broke the rule...

An absolutely beautiful day - finished off with a stunning meal .

I think the £100 was worth the stickybeak! What a gorgeous morning and I am guessing it had that hush that comes with fresh snow?

I remember posting in the thread with you re the Last Supper tickets. I'm pleased you got to see it. I remember moving away from the group I was with and just taking it all in without the guide spiel.

And Milan...oh I loved Milan. I can still taste the fresh orange juice and the beautiful prosciutto and mustard fruits we had at this little cafe not far from the Duomo.

Completely agree, I wouldn't change a thing. The morning walk was pretty special - one for photography enthusiasts. I'm not an enthusiasts however, pretty happy with how the iphone captured the moment.

The Last Supper was worth the effort. It is good to step away and take it in. The painting at the other end is also impressive https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_Donato_da_Montorfano

One has to ask the obvious. whY?

Fair Q - here's the list.

1. BA Euro J is a disgraceful joke
2. The flights are short haul with an F lounge pitstop... BTW their lounges are also a joke
3. I'm a creature of a 4 year, weekly commute MCY-SYD-MCY on J* - therefore, I can endure just about anything ;)
4. I'd rather spend the coin on J/F long haul, hotels, restaurants and other stunning land activities

Have you tried the new Qantas flights yet ?????

Pity the outcome wasn't better at this venue a few months ago.

BA Euro J is not greatly different to the others we have used, like AF, OS, AY etc. But for longer flights (i.e upcoming LHR-BUD) I still use them, for the service, food etc. Shorter flights whY is tolerable.

You can get some nice photos from down here ;)

Welcome to Bergen :!:

I have been away and now have enjoyed catching up on the wonderful photos and trip report.
The food shots were amazing and Italy never disappoints.

By the time we got to the hotel and ready for dinner it was ~ 9pm.

It was Monday night, bugger all was open, and it was freezing - we eventually found a place that looked half decent.

Soya https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Rest...staurant-Bergen_Hordaland_Western_Norway.html

Very different flavours we'd enjoyed over the past 3 weeks.

We had our first bottle of white wine for the trip! I was so shocked - I forget to take a photo.

The food was very tasty, and I'd be lying if I didn't confess the flavours were brilliant after 3 weeks of touring Italy.
