completed my 3 nights/stays at Sydney IC

then I reviewed all the promos I was signed up to...the Ambassador one work when I was expecting to be tolda I was already enrolled. Guess I will have to do 3 nights again.

Did you re-enrol before the points credited or after? Do note that it does take a few weeks from the qualifying stay to credit until the Ambassador status appears on the account

I am getting rejected for all those new July-September codes. Hmmm. It's not a geographical thing you don't think? As I have over 30 nights booked in the next three months I have a great deal of interest!

Dave Noble you're correct - also mentioned on the FT thread. I registered for 5 for 10K (as I haven't received any email offer yet).

Make sure you put "other" as the reason. It worked for me, YEMV (your experience may vary). Seems that they are getting a little smarter in their IT area (not allowing concurrent 10K night offers like a 5 and 8 together) as well as having targeted and non-targeted offers. The ones on the PC website (like the banner 20K points offer) are all non-targeted so they allow registration for all. The September email ones (emailed to members in USA and overseas apparently already, but not here) seem to be targeted but perhaps the 5 nights is an offer available to all (non-targeted) whilst the others are targeted.

You need to manage the bookings (like booking online to get the 1K online bonus) and review what bonus offers may come up in the future to get the most out of your stays.

Hmmm, strange, as I signed up another AFF'er to this 5 for 10K promo this morning using "other" as the reason and he got the promo registration email.

Maybe you have so many bookings they think you don't need the incentive to score the additional points?? Even the 18K

I just got back from the same Cairo hotel Dave Noble stayed at and scored about 30k in bonus points. I had signed up for everything on FT. I had 4 qualifying nights in June so lets see if I get platinum ambassador status!

Still no ambassador status. I checked out 4 July. Dave, how long did it take for yours to come through? It might be better if it is delayed a couple months as the BOGO would expire before I could use it in July next year in Papeete.

My stay was during early/mid May and the status changed on about the 9th June.

Mine took about a month from the stay to the web site showing Ambassador status. The new card and welcome pack arrived this week, about two weeks after the status change on-line.

Hmmmm, so maybe its a monthly "sweep" they do that picks up everyone who qualified the previous month? I'll give it a couple more weeks.

I stay heaps hotels -Australia/Asia. Tried all card deals. PriorityPrivilege/PCR is the only one useful - works for most people i know. "Rack rate" discount p@#$ me off!
my tip is speak with PP direct. Web-site give standard pack, consultant can "customise" pack for your needs. Ph xx_xx_xx_ (edited by admin). Not telling my consultant's name cause shes great and want her to have more time for me!

Well it's been over 5 weeks since checking out and I didn't get the Ambassador level. I used the link on FT, I wasn't targetted, but I did get an email confirming I had registered. I did get a couple of 10,000 bonuses I wasn't targetted for so I don't want to call attention to my profile though.

I just wish I knew why some people got it and some didn't. I definetely had 2 x HI nights and 5 x IC nights before 30 June, though I didn't check out of the IC until 4 July.
