couple of Mimosas for me
What’s there to be nervous about your in the first class lounge ?These are always suitable precursors before launching into the red, given that we are nervous travelers.
Mine was cooked nicely.
I had the snapper a couple of weeks ago before a cheeky trip to NZ. It was cooked perfectly.I was lucky enough to be joined by @admin, @WilsonM and one of our support staff recently in the Qantas First Lounge in Sydney. We had a few hours to spare, so we tried one of everything on the menu and ranked each dish from best to worst.
You can see the full write-up and photos of each menu item here:
Ranked: Everything on Qantas' Sydney First Lounge Menu

“… The only problem? It can be hard to decide if you’re visiting the Qantas First Lounge for the first time! …”. Really?
Surely most people, other than those suffering advanced dementia, would remember if they’d visited the Qantas First Lounge before.
Or was there a dearth of commas, or perhaps semi-colons, on the Qantas First Lounge menu?
Picky? Standards! The Qantas First Lounge isn’t the Cattle Crates public food hall. A modicum of literacy might, perhaps, be appropriate. PS: ‘betcha’ ‘snot as good as the Cathy First at LHR (used to be).
QF SYD F is miles better.PS: ‘betcha’ ‘snot as good as the Cathy First at LHR (used to be).
‘Mr Pedantic notes no such thing. Mr Pedantic simply observes that punctuation to a pre/early high school level would remove glaring ambiguity. Or to put it another way, grunt grunt, grunt grunt.Mr Pedantic notes that in order to reach your interpretation, the post would have had to say: it can be hard to decide whether you’re visiting the Qantas First Lounge for the first time!
Was in the Qantas MEL F lounge couple of weeks ago and the Signature Breakfast was spot on. Mrs Nut had the fritters that got that got thumbs up.It’s been a couple of years since l was in QF Mel F lounge but seeing that menu is really disappointing when you see the offerings on EK Mel F and it looks like a cheap diner when comparing it to EK DXB F. Confirms our decision to avoid QF F whenever possible.
