Problem is nothing interests me - too much Pinnacle/WOW own brand wines
best i can see is in the spirits. eg. Lagavulin 16 if on 'clearance' in your local would come back around $76?, these days that's pretty good. Other then that I usually just go for a Tanqueray Gin 1L

BWS 25% CB + 10%

VAT 37 here for $37, I don't drink white much tho.
Hardy's Eileen Hardy Shiraz $100, basically standard price but then you get around 30% discount.
Glaetzer AMON-RA Shiraz $88

There isn't much on clearance discounted ATM unfortunately.

I haven't been checking here, trying to save but hopefully haven't missed any amazing deals 😂

Try in store. Guarantee it will scan at $15. This is what they do everytime they have a price error - take it offline but don't actually fix the price

For those who were going to try tonight, it no longer scans at $15. The manager told me the in-store prices have now been corrected.

With the BWS deal, you can get some Mollydooker as well. I got a bottle of Blue Eyed at $44 before CB in Vic, the Carnival of Love is on sale too.
I noticed Molly for $75

I'm not sure which way to go!

Plenty of Clonakilla in CBR, 6 bottles at Tuggers 30 minutes ago and a dozen at Wanniassa when I was there last night.
Not available in SA, I rang and she said it's probably VIC only as they don't even stock it.

Campo Viejo - Gran Reserva $20 down from $40, tho First Choice have it for $30 down from $40

I also noticed Martinborough Vineyard - Home Block Pinot for $44 down from $75

I visited two Liquorland stores and both had it ticketed at 2 for $30 so it looked intentional. However both check out operators had looks of surprise on their face as I left the store 😂😂

Swung by Newstead in Brisbane this morning out of interest and swept up 8 bottles for $14.25pb. Sticker price was $14.25pb (in 6) but when I took them up to the register they scanned at something like $36pb. Cashier was a bit surprised but checked the sticker and good to go. Thank you DLR for the heads up!

Did they have looks of surprise at the price or because you left and haven't taken an advantage of it?
Because of the price.
The first operator wanted to charge at $35 a bottle till I showed him the tag
The second looked at me and said that’s a big drop and I suggested she should grab a couple to which she agreed.
Unfortunately there was only one left because I had the rest. 😬😬😬

Dans often want you to show them in stock within a certain amount of KMs when you ask, so I figured... just get it. Also - 7% cashback is a small bonus for Liquorland. I think i also got something like 500 measly bonus flybuys pts for my trouble.

I've only ever had a glass or two at restaurants, but recall enjoying it. Here's a review of the 2019 from Mike Bennie at The Wine Front (94 pts)

"Some of the older wines in my cellar are Clonakilla Hilltops Shiraz. There’s older, older, but of the younger older wines, this label hits quite a few slots. Has always been a good proposition. Better yet, the year it won ‘Best Wine Of Show’ etc when I was in my epoch of judging Canberra Regional Wine Show – a wine for the people. This one is too. It’s a significantly excellent release of this shiraz, shimmers in the glass with purple-dark red colour, slips over the palate with a satiny spread of mellifluous fruit and spice, offers fine sheets of lacy tannin and finishes fresh and nicely puckering. Such pretty sweet fruit, floral notes and piquant spice. Such a delight! Such pleasing and easy drinking but feels like pedigree too. A worthy addition to a cellar (and for your glass now, now, now)." - Mike Bennie (The Wine Front)
Thanks! Grabbed a couple to try.
