May be variable. I got the 2016 (which is fantastic).I think it was 2015 vintage. That is what the label had on it (for what that's worth!)
With their (not so) special price of $89 on Talisker 10, coming down to $59 ($30 cashback max), thats good enough for me! These BWS specials are rubbish for wine with the caps but whisky is hard to get on significant discounts, so its always where I end up using them. With their inflated RRP and lack of decent clearance items (Sydney metro), I cannot find any genuine bargain even with 35% cashback. Penfolds 389 $86 before cashback would've been nice but cashback excludes Penfolds.
Fantastic, holding out hope that they are also sending a case to Collingwood for me to pick up!

...seems it's not a QLD deal then, I just went into store, they had around 17 bottles collecting dust, but still scanning at $74. Staff had no idea why elsewhere had it at $20
Our local has 4 bottles I've had sitting in my cart... but only discounted to $52.50 at this stageMaybe you need to look a bit more carefully, there are some very good specials on wine which I and other members here took advantage of combining with cashbacks. Today I got a couple of Vat47 Chardonnays which were already discounted by 50% to $37.50 plus another 35% from ShopBack
Could I order from interstate? I'm keen for 6-12! I'm a bit worried about the whole redirecting through AusPost.
Which stores can I order from? PM state and postcode? Thank you
I placed a click and collect for a single bottle with LL, then called to confirm and they said no stock, and no more being ordered, then cancelled my order.I contacted them this morning regarding my order and they were adamant that they are awaiting more stock and the order is not being refunded. Will see what happens.

So...when I was in store at DM and VC trying to price match, they *both* said the reason they have all clamped down so much is because there was a pricing error last year, and one guy went to all the stores and bought over a hundred bottles, using his purchase receipts to then get the others to price match...the “not the same vintage” line or “greater than 10km” is what they have been told to use whenever they can (even though their websites all say that vintages can’t be guaranteed). I asked for one bottle and they gave it to me for $20.
I bought gin. Can never have too much gin.
Same $52.50 price at my local stores. There is a store with price down to $37.50 in a town 90km away which I will be driving to on Sunday but it doesn’t open on Sundays...seems it's not a QLD deal then, I just went into store, they had around 17 bottles collecting dust, but still scanning at $74. Sounds like the $15 Blackwell incident.So...when I was in store at DM and VC trying to price match, they *both* said the reason they have all clamped down so much is because there was a pricing error last year, and one guy went to all the stores and bought over a hundred bottles, using his purchase receipts to then get the others to price match...the “not the same vintage” line or “greater than 10km” is what they have been told to use whenever they can (even though their websites all say that vintages can’t be guaranteed). I guess what I meant is that saving 35% off a couple of bottles of wine is a fairly common affair due to so many great deals. Frequently from deals posted here it’s possible to save 20-50% on great wine. Getting good whisky at 35% off is relatively more scarce, and one bottle will see me through much longer than 2-3 bottles of wine!Maybe you need to look a bit more carefully, there are some very good specials on wine which I and other members here took advantage of combining with cashbacks. I disagree - half of those wines would be happier in my cellarSounds like the $15 Blackwell incident.
But this practice has long preceeded that event, particularly with small/medium restaurant and corner liquorshop owners going around mass price-matching for stock. Whether this is right or wrong, is just an individual's perspective. On one hand, you could say "greed" is ruining it for everyone as chain stores are forced enforce their terms, but on the other side, they see it as business and a hustle to reduce cost.
Like, if this Leeuwin was posted on the "beloved" OzB (props to @DLR again), the same issue would occur, but instead with 10+ people asking for price matches per store. This isn't really greed perse, but rather FOMO mixed with mass exposure. And in my mind, the wine will be happier in my cellar than another person's.

Each to their own - I don't drink enough to grab 2 dozen of anything, and in this case I think it's way overpriced at $70, but props to you for managing to get that many, and to DRL for sharing rather than grabbing them all at the start
Same goes with Adelaide, DM's around me were hassled and threatened to enforce price matching of a St Hugo deal by some "jerk" (their words not mine). Supposedly said person did the rounds to clear out the DM's a bully staff. A few staff members got in trouble for price matching and therefore my local DM's are very reluctant to price match deals at the first instance. Which is annoying for me, especially if i have a legitimate deal to price match!So...when I was in store at DM and VC trying to price match, they *both* said the reason they have all clamped down so much is because there was a pricing error last year, and one guy went to all the stores and bought over a hundred bottles, using his purchase receipts to then get the others to price match...the “not the same vintage” line or “greater than 10km” is what they have been told to use whenever they can (even though their websites all say that vintages can’t be guaranteed).
