Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

6 bottle offer will be in addition to the 10% off $100

Well worth double stacking.. if you can find anything to buy
If my math is right, Eileen Hardy Shiraz works out at around $55 using this method with plenty of stock around. Personally I would most defo prefer this over clonakilla sv in over $50 mark.

Nope,

They all got snapped up in a day. What I posted is everything at 50% off, there looks like a few up and comers but that 15% basically wiped out every store of everything.
Actually worked out 25% off (15% coupon plus 10% off for more than a 6 pack). I am still stoked being able to grab some.

I would be happy to drink the unlabeled version at home by myself but I would feel too embarrassed to take it to a dinner or someone's house so it makes sense that it's dirt cheap as it needs to be.

I have some Blue Poles clean skins (Shiraz and Reserve Allouran Deux Écus) and have taken them to dinner, the host was more than happy to drink good wine - I guess if he was not as interested in wine, the label of a well known brand would be more important

I spose the Grant Burge Meshach 16 is $165, when you deduct the 10%< 10% and CB it would be under $100. It's $190 at Dan's.

I'm not seeing a double 10% bonus, I added 6 bottles and only get 10%> it doesn't seem to double up.

CR tracked at $22 on $110 price, not the $99 discounted amount.

Torbreck The Steading Grenache Shiraz Mataro is $35, would come to around $24ish after discounts.

Any recommendations on the Massena or B Minor wines? Haven't had much from either of them.
Also, let me know details to share with them on the "Recommend a friend and they buy a dozen and you both will get a free magnum."
Drop me a pm Tan and I’ll sort you out with Kane.
As for the Massena wines, I rate the GSM and the Straight Grenache excellent buying at Grape Belief price. There Is no value at rrp. i Also rate the Riesling.
the Vento I’m happy to pass at. Way too many good options at $39.
the B minor wines I haven’t had a go at. Others seem happy with the quality for the price. Kane’s bonus bottles are a very good way to try something you probably wouldn’t buy.

Worth a try, good price - one Vivino reviewer says JH 4.25.
From DM's around $17/bottle in case of 6, incl. delivery, down from $25.

A reviewer on Vivino commented- "A blend from two great winemakers/brands (wild duck creek and whistling eagle). Plum and blackberries nose with cedar spice. Palate is full of dark fruits and pepper and tannins. The rest of the dozen are into the cellar for ageing."

Dan's has been lacklustre with deals for some time now. In terms of value - I would give all of this a miss in favour of the other deals presented here

Not a huge deal but for those of you that like to stock up on Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz when it's priced at its best, Cellar Door is down to $15 today, which is as low as it gets there.

Wowee Treasury must really be looking to clear out some excess, have had an email, a text, and for the first time ever got a phone call from Cellar Door looking to tempt my wallet.

If they are that keen they should extend out more invites and offer deals to non top tier members.

Too bad they still have an elitist mentality and think of all their products as 'luxury'.

Ends tomorrow morning.
I'm sure the leftover wine will still be there waiting to be sold after tomorrow morning. lol. Plenty more of these "oops, we put too many eggs in the China basket" deals to come too.

Is it known what's in the $80 magnum?

As a side note, interesting comment from the Department of Agriculture etc. (source): The composition of forecast falls in Australian production and exports is expected to change over the period to 2025–26. Following the loss of China as a major market, substitution by winemakers is expected towards lower-valued wines. It is likely that some grapes formerly used to produce high-value wine will be blended with other grapes to produce lower-value wine. It is expected this will happen relatively quickly because China was lost as a major export market before wineries started making wine from the 2020–21 wine grape harvest.
