Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Yeah you should get heaps of it
That doesn't help 🤣🤣🤣

Im on the hunt to find solid Pinots for $10-20 of they exist, which I know is a stretch.
Mike Press, Tomic Wines etc

Anything in particular? White Red what region what variety?
Pinots mainly, or light styles of wines.

10% off Sitewide at BWS TODAY, it may stack with all the Reward 10%< 6 wines etc.

10% + Shopback CB 30% for single bottle would be good for some.

Their grenache is light and good. Good alternative to a light pinot at that price range

if you buy 6 - it will be $32 per bottle

James Dominguez Cellars - today mail out
2018 Bannockburn Vineyards Geelong Pinot Noir @ $49.26

If on budget, I would still rather buy less bottles of Pinot Noir but would aim for quality - life is too short to drink cough Pinot Noir (or any wine for that matter)

Might help to narrow it down. What style of Pinot? Light, medium, fruity, earthy, region in Au NZ or outside of?
I never really think of this, but I guess I have too now! I need to drink more!
Wrong varietal for this price range imo - you should at least be in the 20-30 range and not necessarily be chasing crazy discounts.
Yeah, I agree! I have read the Mike Press & Tomic are very good and their around $15-18. I definitely know $20-30 should be the minimum and quality wine makers esp Pinot rarely discount.

To each his own but Tread Softly drank like water to me
Will stay away I guess.

The standard Stonier isn't much better? The SVs are good but a lot of vintage variation and back in around the 30 mark.

Would rather pay a bit more for DCB, Hoddles.

I think decent pinot is going to be more in the realms of 40-50 with discounts tbh.

Had this recently, thought it was delicious drinking - cherries, spice, brambles, minerally and good acid on it.

Yes, I have heard that the Grenache is quite good - I would not recommend the WA Cab - very fruit forward and not like other WA Cab's I have had

Akarua Rua pinot (Central Otago) is not a bad one, can be had for around $23 if memory serves.

But generally, you get what you pay for with pinot noir.

I visited the winery a couple of years ago. Same with you, I don't understand why it deserves high prestige. But its single Viognier(not nouveau) is pretty outstanding,
Add me to this club too. I take visitors to the cellar door. They are generally left underwhelmed and baffled by the high price tags.

Any of these Pinots available at BWS? Sorry 🤣🤣🤣

Will look into the recommendations, thank you! I'm still going to buy some Tomic, Mike Press! Just so I can compare :)
