yes, the line about $7 a bottle......hmmm hmmm.....I was spotting a deal here, $7 with 20per cent off nets in at $5.60 a bottle, We are talking Aldi pricing here for medium product. I don't think these are as good as the barossan sixers, but at $7 a bottle, pretty good. I pursued this with a lovely bloke who kindly said that its 10.75 a bot, but there is 20per cent off.....it didn't go anywhere further as I wasn't too pedantic, but he did say theres a clause in their statements somewhere that allows for this....he said it could have been an old typo from an old deal....a little slack in my opinion, but wheres the customer is always right bit....whatdya reckon ? $19.20 difference from 10.75 with 20off to 7 a bot net.... no big deal really as 10.75 less twenty is still good, but I will pass even though its worth it for having the label of the last bottle....fantastic monicker.....if it were me, I would given it to me and then rang up the computer techs and got them to wipe line five.........oh well, time to get into the garden..
now I am adding this as I have read about the hassles above with the filsell......I had an experience two years ago that was extremely well sorted. they had a hesketh thirsty dog cabernet and a hesketh dealer cabernet. they were both being sold for 7 a bottle, but the dog had pricing of about 25. I rang them and said the purchase wont go thru at 7 bucks a bottle. cut to the chase, they honoured it and I got a case for 7 bucks a bot.
Today is similar. What they should do if they can act so damn quickly is honour the person who brought up this error. Chris was my contact at winemarket and he did a great job, but its not his money. he should have sensed what I wanted and booted a goal for me. Like the above, who wants to waste precious time writing letters of discontent. Sure I love doing it but not always.
All the best for the cup. My tip is that number 13 I think, predica...something or rather. as you can tell, I don't really care but Ladbrokes did give me and a mate about 200 for free with their rugby union deal. joined up, put my own fifty on both teams to recover this 50 then put the 150 free at new Zealand over 10 - odds at 3.2......
That was like taking money from a baby and more importantly, a no loss, no brainer....
hope you can do the same sort of thing tomoz with a cash back running secnd, third etc...I am trying to work on that one....
