Tyrrell's are offering the 2016-2018 back vintages of Vat 1 for $50 a bottle. Minimum purchase is 6 bottles, although you might be able to choose some of their cheaper offerings to complete a six pack (haven't checked myself).

i had 2 years free - when i tried to have that extended for another year due to logistical issues, they refused but later gave me a $50 gift card - this was last April - of course in hindsight had i known that shipsmart was going to be discontinued, i would've used it to renew, so since then, my wine purchases from Dan's have significantly declined

A gimmick for sure. Can use any old number. Then when you're in, it's fairly obvious what the wine is from the picture.

Vintage have started some decent clearance prices, but nothing really jumped out on Gold Coast. Clonakilla Hilltops $20 I think was probably the best I saw. Quite a few $4+ wines, but just the basics like Zilzie.
I see that Dan Murphy has listed a bunch of new wines in their clearance section. Most likely as the result of the corporate action pertaining Cellarmasters rather than EOFY specifically.
