BWS have dropped a few to 50% discount in Melbourne. Thomas Hardy Cabernet, Teusner righteous Grenache, Wolf Blass Black, Petaluma Chardonnay and Merlot. Have a look at Highett, Mentone, Thrift Park if they are near to you. Even better with 10% rewards discount, not waiting for Shopback.

I am fairly certain that the comment "Buying alcohol is essential work" was intended as light banter or a joke, however at least in the NSW lockdown it holds water.

The liquor stores are deemed essential just like supermarkets so buying alcohol to keep the shelves stocked is essential work just like with groceries.

More to the point for the purpose f this thread, same goes for purchasing. Nothing would stop me to ride my motorbike to a Dan Murphy store anywhere in Sydney located more than 10km from my place to make a purchase or pick up a bargain.

This doesn't necessarily represent my view -merely stating how I believe the current laws apply.

yes, unlike VIC with their 5km limit, SYD's 10km only applies to exercise, not shopping :(

I sincerely hope the buyer is not on this site, with all the info given here it would be criminal to pay so much for something that was on sale for a fraction of the price.
