Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I didn't have any when the 10% extra off sale was on, then BAM I got one for my 1yr anniversary, then 5 days later another one for 'we miss you'. I thought the 2nd was just a reminder of the first, but hey presto, different codes :D
ā€œWe miss youā€ series seem to be reusable. At any rate in my case. ā€œAnniversary seriesā€ is a single use only. YMMV.

All could be combined 10% and other sales they have/had.

LEASINGHAM BIN 7 RIESLING can be currently had at under $10 a bottle using the voucher.

Good value summer sipping.

JD Secret Wine #336 down from $55 to $27.49 is WARRAMUNDA ESTATE Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley 2019.
I was driving past their gate this afternoon, just a quiet day at Healesville. No juice till I got home. Just had another bot of the Angoves Traminer Rizza 2019 thru grays with a BBQ dinner. Can I report I snagged a case in the last fifteen minutes for $34, and await a buy of another , currently $29 in an hour. It really is that good as an opener or by itself. It is not a simple wine either, and I reckon folks reckon it's going to be too pink and too sweet. The gewurtz moulds with the rizza to form a balanced specimen. A bit like the cases of Voyager estate savvy, semi blend. Retail late twenties. GRAYS last year about $49. Oh, I also scored another 6 pack of tallarook shiraz 2019 for $17. Geez I am cheap.

Would anyone know what is in this TWC pack?

Waddaya reckon re the Tallarook Shiraz BF, in terms of your take on taste/palate? Certainly not much brass to put it mildly:cool:
I haven't had the first 6 pack delivered yet strangely. But based on my research, it seemed a great proposition. The other case of the tramy rizza just went for $34. I didnt go up from 29, otherwise it would have been 39. The 34 earlier was good. But only based on pedigree with the talkarook. I know nearly all of it went to China, as the previous owner, a noted shrink in Prahran dealing in exotica if I can put it mildly, got out. The man's kid is the lead singer of the cat empire Felix. Small world. So I am hoping to be honest. The angoves has no brass and its a beaut. That suave has none either. Here's hoping wandd but will report. Hopefully the first 6 lands this week.

I had one bottle already and enjoyed it. Dark red/ruby colour, fruit upfront in a typical McLaren fashion, fine creamy bubbles, crisp and somewhat bright with a hint of smoke/oak. Great value for money IMHO and perfect when served cold on a hot summer day.
I love a sparkling shiraz around yuletide so jumped on a sixer, thanks for the heads up....

Definitely has good reviews!
The pack contents vary over time, the past reviews may not be applicable to the current mix.

I've bought a couple in the past when they had more info on the contents, including Hewitson Private Cellar Shiraz Mataro, usual mix of 3-4 good wines and 2-3 to give away to others.

Let's compare notes wandd...and see whose turns up first. I haven't had a SS for ages, and used to buy more Peter Rumball earlier in life at about $19.99 than I did milk. The PR price is still in the ballpark 30 years later. We've all had the sickly sweet types, the lack of body types, the nothing types. This one does promise a lot and I think at the price, which is better than great, I reckon we will both like it. No returns though, this aint the Fo. Oh by the way, ring me tomorrow to wake me up please.

I've actually managed to grab my six via pick-up from our store in Newtown (Tas natch) quite surprisingly, so I might pip you at the post. At nearly a 1/4 of its RRP it has got to be more than acceptable methinks. Fascinating insight into the Tallarook Shiraz re Cat Empire et al, saw the band in its heyday at MONA years ago and they were on fire, Harry James Angus was swigging from a bottle of David Walsh's Pinot and was v. entertaining, a talented guy.

It was first listed at this price around August 11, surprised it's still around, my people have had a good run at it, I bought 4 6-packs to share. Some positive reports too, none negative.
