Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Yep seen it Dan's and advertised occasionally in other places for couple years - never tried it though - always have a slab or 2 of Crownies in the fridge in garage but never tried the 100 bucker - tried the black label that JohnK posted in another thread today but it doesn't cut the mustard.

Paid a visit to Kemenys yesterday to buy some of the KHL 2116 but I couldn't see it in the shop. When I asked I was told that there's none left. We didn't come away empty-handed (never do) but it was disappointing because I didn't really have the spare time. When I look at the website this morning the KHL 2116 is still being advertised. Huh?

Dan's have Wolf Blass Grey Label on special next 3 hours or so:

With Cash Rewards / WISH - 7.5% + 5% = further disc 12.5% = Final Price $21.87 - not quite as good as Blacky's deal but still very good - IMHO of course.

Just saw the Dan's Grey Label Wolf offer and thought it was quite good but my spending has to be reined in with trips to AKL for dinner, Samsung TV's etc etc.....

On another note, 3 of us went to McGuigan back in October. We were less than impressed with the cellar door set up and when it came to purchasing their wines, not one of us purchased a bottle unlike at the other wineries we visited that day.

But each to their own and if you enjoy it, buy it and drink it. After all, somebody could look in my cellar and wonder what half that cough is doing there.

I think I'm on a buying ban until Barossa now....

So they come with the label on them??

Just the Kemenys label.

Was there ever a doubt it was the Leconfield? Unlike Vinomofo, Kemeny's never seems interested in trying to mislead people about the identity of their wines.

Internet search for Leconfield label / Photoshop 2013 to 2012 / print coughpy label on Avery Lever Arch file type labels / stick to bottle - will mean in 1 to 2 to 3 to 4yrs my Alzheimer's won't cause too many probs.

When one's memory failed, does it extend to taste or drinking senses?
If so labels aren't that useful. ;)

Buying from Vinomofo eliminates this step: ;)

Nope, no doubt at all in my mind.

From Cracka Wines this morning - 76% off McLaren Vale Shiraz (Allegedly):

Full details here: http://links.mkt3792.com/servlet/Ma...MTY4OTIzNTA2OTAxS0&j=NTAwNjY5NDUwS0&mt=1&rt=0

It is listed on the winemakers website for $59. So it's not allegedly, it's an accurately stated price reduction. How many people would have paid the $59 is a separate matter.

Zalinga Estate

I note it's been offered for sale by Greys, which makes me think there's a lot that they can't sell and it's been going for even less than the $13.99:
