Chardonnay 2020
Rating: 94
Fabulously elegant and delicately fragrant with nectarine, fresh fig, nougat, oatmeal and hazelnut aromas on the nose, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that's creamy and lingering. Well supported by refined texture and bright acidity, finishing seamless and sophisticated. At its best: 2022 to 2030. $45.00. www.dromanaestate.com.au. Sept 2021.
The winery is selling it as a cleanskin $100 for 12

View attachment 406980pretty significant discount! Wasn't looking for gin but at $20 pre-discount per bottle, why not!
If you don’t have a bday voucher, you can also opt for a 4 bottles of gin pack for $20 each.

I purchased a bottle in the past and just finished it. I mixed it primarily with an Italian blood orange mixer (San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa)
Yummy.
Great value for $20

I like Gin and I like Pinot, separately, not so much together. Same for Shiraz and Gin. Same for Grenache and Gin. Same for Cabernet and Gin.

Hmm, seems to be a pattern here. And yes, I've tried at least one of each of those combinations.
Given the discount I'd suggest the general public feel the same way about this product. Flavoured gins are overrated IMO.

That being said, great novel addition for the price heading into spring/summer parties.

Looks like the Schild Estate Shiraz is getting even cheaper,

Assuming same wine (it now says "Export Label") it is now $99 for one case delivered using code SCHILDESTATE (source: OzB). I guess they bought a lot! lol.
