Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

It really is the quick and the dead the morning after the Halliday awards!

I wonder if Dr Ralph took the morning off his paid work to focus on his other job - getting wine deals! :)

Saw the Serrat deal. But wasn't interested. The previous vintages I've had which scored very highly were just OK to me. Not worth buying again.

I see Cash Rewards has just increased some of its cashback offers. Including Wine Market to 15% (plus spend over $80 and get 5% off) and Dan's at 9.5%.

I did mention the AMEX Platinum offer. Seems like it was Oz Bargained, so they have shut it down. Shame. That bloody website!

OMG. So a privilege that comes with forking out a small fortune on a credit card annual fee gets leaked around the internet by OzB..... The web page was not secured, so I guess that is what happens.

I think being 'Oz Bargained" will be a new entry in the dictionary soon.

Some have egos bigger than their brains.

I think a bit of discretion is required at times to think about what should be posted and what not...and someone who's got an Edge card reckons they're bloody eligible as well. Yeah right.

6 cards so far, some stack with Vintec codes and some $50 discount offered by the broker. 3 cards to go (possibly a 4th one if that supplementary card decides to play ball)

Was just thinking about this earlier. At 5000 customers, that's a potential max cost of $750,000. I wonder who out of Langtons and Amex is footing the bulk of this bill? (I guess it's "us" as Amex card holders who really pay in the end)
