Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Someone's down here in CBR already started their quest clearing the deleted lines...both Erindale and Tuggeranong stores are done in the last couple of hours.

I had a look in one of my local BWS tonight and the only thing I noticed was some 2014 Leconfield Cab Sauv - the staff member mentioned as it was a clearance line so its price will drop another 10% on Thursday. That will make it $15.39 in 6 after wish

is is that very competitive?

I'll let the others chime in but the strongest I've bought is 2014 Filsell for $15 (courtesy of Dr Ralph's tip) and just saw the Tamar Ridge Pinot for $17 a bottle (Dan's $26 a bottle so it's not dramatic savings).

Thanks for the feedback M2, Just looking at the reviews and it doesn't look like it is for me.

Very good price, yes.

What a price. Will have to start ducking into the two tiny BWS we have in town and see if anything as good pops up..

Was just on Winemarket and got a 10% off your next order over $100 code pop up: WMYLD

Not as good as their usual 20% offerings, but thought it might be useful if someone is desperate!

Morning All, some more BWS clearance items up for grabs at Macarthur Square (Syd) BWS. Not the usual calibre of items, but still some quaffing goodies especially given the 25% off for 6 bottles. Prices below after the 25% off:

D'Arenberg footbolt 2012 & 2011 $11.55
D'Arenberg D'Arrys Original 2013 2012 $11.55
Wynns 2014 Shiraz $8.25 (Think there were about 8 bottles of this)
Wyndham Estate Founders Reserve 2012 Barossa Shiraz $8.25
Nugan McLaren Parish Vineyard Shiraz 2013/2012/2011 $12.60
Rufus Stone 2013 Heatchote Shiraz $14.70
Barwang 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon $7.50
Kirrihill Regional Range Clare Valley Shiraz 2014 $6.75
Climbing 2013 Orange Shiraz $8.25

Assume at least 3 of each of the above, maybe more. Also some Monopole Blue Top Champagne for $25 at Campbelltown Mall, along with a few other clearance items (e.g. Shaw Smith 2015 Sauv Blanc $16.50)

My local BWS doesn't stock any of those wines - in fact I don't think any Tassie BWS's do :(

Received the Flybuys bonus 2000pts on all First Choice online orders again - together with the [post=1505667]in-store offer a few days ago[/post], they must really want me - now just need another free delivery promotion :)

also FYI My Wine Guy now have free delivery for orders over $295 and a price match guarantee

Forgot to mention that for those of you interested in cabernet, I bought the following from WineStar the other day (besides some [post=1508127]Little Yarra Pinot Noir 2015[/post] and [post=1503919]Benevelli Piero Langhe Nebbiolo 2015[/post]):

De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Singlefile Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Vasse Felix Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Te Mata Awatea Cabernet Merlot 2014
Juniper Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Wantirna Estate Amelia Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2013

Anyone had Singlefile or Juniper before?

The last of my Amex - Winestar/Cracka/Langton's purchase.
Hopefully I can now have a long siesta. ;)
It's a chore trying to purchase just $150 (including $10 shipping) from Winestar. So many times entering/deleting cart.
Finally:
Benevelli Piero Langhe Nebbiolo 2015 2 bottles (qaz's fault/posts)
Bream Creek Tasmania Pinot Noir 2012 2 bottles
Maretti Langhe Barbera Nebbiolo 2013 3 bottles

Total $172.93
After Amex rebate $122.93, that's $17.56/bottle delivered (on the way)
