Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Agreed. For that sort of money I think you couldn't hope to do better than 2013 Uncut. It is more than competitive with anything else in the range of its usual asking price of $18 or so. And you can get on the share-a-case thread if you don't agree - I don't think you'd have any trouble finding someone to take it off your hands for that sort of money.

Despite my hesitation, I grabbed the Gemtree Uncut with the $100 off CM voucher at $9.76 / bottle for the lack of better options, since a few posts continue to reinforce it. Glad I did...pretty nice drop for the price.

It's not a van, but I do have plenty of space in the vehicle I do use.

It's amazing how many BWS's you go past on the way to representing NSW most undesirables in regional areas.

Umm...no, that's not me.

About that. I didn't keep the docket.

Isn't that your avatar?? :D

Similar but not me. I cannot afford to run one of these atm. Seriously, you spotted this in left hand drive? He must have fallen in love on holidays in France and couldn't bare to leave her behind.
Ah, un amour de vacances...

You do realise that is just a picture of Jay Leno and his car and not someone sleuthing AFFer's, right?

BWS Oran Park (NSW) 2012 Seppelt Chalambar under $10.50 a bottle.

Good price. From memory this was a Halliday 96 pts. How many left?

Anything else this afternoon you've found - I only ask as you seem to visit multiple stores across wide geographical areas every day.

Betty there were 7 bottles left when I was there around 10.30am today. I purchased 6.

I do get to a few stores across Sydney and the wider area. I have a compulsion to call in and see what might be on special - most times I walk out with nothing.

I've been trying to stock up on anything that might be on sale and take advantage of the 1000 Woolies bonus points for purchases above $40 at BWS that is running on my account until next month. So far I've managed to make 6 x $40 purchases. I'm looking for at least 10 seprate $40 purchases. Very good bonus point offering.

This evening I was at BWS Fairy Meadow (Charles Hotel) and they had some of the wines that I've already listed today (Wynns + Leconfield)) but they also had a lot of other non alcoholic products like this for $1:

I also called into another BWS store at Wilton and they had nothing at all discounted.

Tomorrow I expect to pass at least 4 different BWS stores that I haven't been to in at least a month. I'm after some higher end wines. The stores I seem to call into don't usually have many of these available - or at least the ones that they do like Penfolds BIN 389 don't seem to be discounted enough for me to consider purchasing them.

Anyone got their Winery Lane deliveries from the weekend yet? Still waiting here - Melbourne.

I picked up the gift card on the weekend but didn't use it until Monday - nothing here in Tas yet but I'm expecting it until mid to late next week
