For those of you not following Winefront (and perhaps Red Bigot's forum), a national scavenger hunt of sorts has been going on there for
2014 Mount Pleasant Philip Shiraz, rated 94pts by Gary Walsh.
Like all McWilliam's wines, its price has gone up significantly, from RRP $19.50 for 2013 to $27 for 2014, which is meant to be officially released next month.
However, in late July, it was found that some Dan Murphy's, Vintage Cellars, First Choice and BWS stores had the 2014 for $14 (same price as the 2013).
McWilliam's Cellar Door had it for $17.50 (via voucher), and
Qantas epiQure sold out on the weekend at $14.
Why am I sharing this? Because hopefully [post=1508955]
