Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Steve
I read on another wineblog some people were struggling a bit with their WineryLane orders, but as I expect you don't get much positive feedback - I bought a few cases in your Fathers day offer. My wine arrived in promptly and I managed to convert to two confirmed red wine drinkers to the merits of rose - the Eden Road rose was perfect for Spring drinking.

If you stack it with the Westpac extras cashback (spend $120 get $50 back) - no WISH GC option because you can't split payments online, you can get it for just under $39 a bottle.

Interesting. Got the WestPac offer today. How can I get the other discounts, is there a special discount code?

Just a warning about Cellarmasters. I made a purchase last week and used a WISH card voucher. Today when I went to use the same voucher I found that Cellarmasters had debited my WISH card for the same amount twice on the same day. It was not a duplicate order. Currently waiting for a response from Cellarmasters as the person who deals with gift card transactions is not available after hours.

Suggest others who have used a WISH card recently might want to check their balance.

You generally don't get Cashbacks if you use GCs with Cellarmasters.

However you do get 3x with DJ CC.

I had a similar problem with a wish card at Cellarmasters, where the website gave me an error message at the confirmation stage. The order didn't go through but $100 value came off my card. Took about a month worth of correspondence to get the reimbursement, with the bog standard Woolies response... "bad news sir, but we've confirmed you used the card with Cellarmasters".

Just checked mine. Same thing happened - from Dec 1. Called them and they said they would get back to me.

My purchase was on Dec 1 as well.

I'm waiting for a call back. Will follow it up via email if I don't hear from them today.

Note from Cashrewards site:

'Purchases made using a WISH Gift Card are eligible for cashback.'

I don't recall Westpac Extras cash back for CM! Is it new?
Possibly, I've only recently signed up to it.

There is no public one, but I recently got sent one. I made a public solicitation for any one that was going public and it got deleted

Hello all.

A friend recently put me on to the Boccaccio Cellars offer, and I was surprised to learn that one of the best places for that sort of information is on a frequent flyer forum.

So here I am, along for the ride. A little too much wine piling up after a string of Langton's statement credits, but I'm sure that won't stop me next time something attractive comes along.

Welcome aboard BacchusMarsh, AFF is a wealth of information on wine deals but that is just a small percentage of what AFF is - I hope you look beyond the Frequent Wine Lovers threads and get the full monty :)

Just while we're on the topic of Cellarmasters and how their policies operate can anyone elaborate on their return policy? Hadn't really looked into previously as have ben happy with the wines purchased but happened to be looking at their T&C and read this:
a. we will only credit the first two bottles of any given case
b. the original delivery charge and handling fee will not be credited
c. wines worth more than $100 a bottle will be credited at our discretion
I assume what they are saying is that they will allow you to sample two bottles from each case and credit the remainder (including the two bottles consumed) to your a/c? It doesn't read terribly well:confused: I'm guessing someone out there must have had experience of this....

Some of us are frequent flyers and frequent drinkers as well. (and frequent sposual arguements for some too... :o )

And as the wine group here grows, there are more infrequent flyers who are frequent drinkers :p
