Thanks Steady!
Hi guys,
I'm thinking of buying - https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_MYSTERY9/secret-selection-margaret-river-semillon-2014 for a small gathering. Do you guys know what it is and if so how do you rate it? Alternatively, can you guys kindly suggest a 'decent' white for approx $15 per bottle.
So what is it? Got similar call but not answered.Similar thoughts Cruiser Elite.
I had the Cracka Wine guy ring me at 5pm when I was getting home and had my hands full, so fobbed him off. Presume it was this.
I've pulled the trigger for a 6 pack, but only realise afterwards that I forgot to get the 5.6% off through cashrewards Damn my haste in not saving $11.75

The Domaine of Dominque Mugneret can trace its beginnings back to 1935 when Marcel Mugneret created the domaine in his own name. Marcel was Dominique's grand-father and now it is Dominique who tends the premier cru vines.
This is villages Pinot Noir but make no mistake, finding any Vosne-Romanée under $100 is nigh impossible due to exceptionally small production and high demand for quality Burgundy in any market place.
As a comparison, we currently stock the 2014 vintage for $125 per bottle, of which Robert Neal (Wine Advocate) wrote: "The 2014 Vosne Romanée Alliance des Terroirs has a similar bouquet to the Hautes Côte de Nuits Rouge -- a little reserved and bashful, though I like the detail here, the precision that comes through with time. The 30% new oak is deftly integrated on the palate, adding body and density in the mouth, although the finish will need more time to fully absorb the wood."
The 2011 is read to drink now and represents great value at $69 per bottle, but in strictly limited quantities of course, so please contact ASAP if any interest.

"This is superbly composed and expressed on the nose exhibiting blackberry, mixed berry compote, mocha, cedar and black olive characters with subtle vanilla nuances. The palate is concentrated and opulent, but not heavy, and delivers layers velvety texture and delectable flavours, with seamlessly woven silky tannins. The wine is gratifying and engaging, and offers extraordinary complexity."96 points - 5 Stars

I received a call from Cracka yesterday and they have 2010 Grant Burge Meshach for $79.99 a bottle (buying in 6's). Phone only not listed online. Given its at Dans for $133 I thought this was a reasonable deal...unfortunately I had just bought some (for a similar price thankfully) through Greys auctions
It is a reasonable price, but it's also becoming the standard perpetually discounted price. For me, I'd be hoping to get it for under $70.
I did get some 2003 for the low 60's recently however 2010 was a stella year so it doesn't compare.
That's not my experience. I've certainly seem the 2010 for under $70 and would expect to see it again for that price or lower. Patience is the key.
FWIW I'm back in July for a couple of days.Fly up to Brissy when I get the case Cruiser Elite and you can sample - just like Captain Halliday
