Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

n00b question here; how do you get the members prices? I'm logged into the Dan Murphy's site but it's not giving me the member price at the checkout.

Thanks roshea but that doesn't help; I can see the member prices advertised on the page, but when I add to cart it's not adding them at the member prices.

I guess you are forced to sign up to Dan Murphy https://www.danmurphys.com.au/dm/mydanmurphys/registration.jsp and then you magically become eligible for offers such as this, I'm not a member (yet) and ironically we have only just had our first DM open in Launceston here in Tas, having perused their "cellar" there are some worthwhile drops especially when you can't access their bricks and mortar establishments....

You would think so, but I'm already a member and logged in so there must be something else wrong. Maybe I'm not 'enough' of a member somehow!

OK point taken, I would put it down to some kind of site-related issue, not a member myself so can't test the waters...

I found the member price only came into effect once I was at payment stage. Can confirm $102 charged for case of 6.

Just in case I am missing something, is the best discount for DM - using a 5% wish card, then getting cash rewards? (only including offers that are everyday)
cheers

I got CR 7% on (I think) everyday prices and then paid members pricing. Didn't have any wish cards to test them.

On your CART page, scroll down and I think you'll find the new amended/reduced members price. (Worked for me :D )

That reduced Members price wasn't visible until scrolling down.

Go on join costs nothing; can use with cash rewards as well as ship smart. Also some good specials occasionally. Cheers

What's the best way to get discount code or other for DM? I'm member. Looking to buy Wynn's Shiraz (white labelled) $15 @6 rate heard it could be ok to cellar. Love to hear of any cheaper to very budget Reds that would improve with time. Is there a thread for budget cellaring ideas?

I can't recall the last Dan Murphy's discount code - they're pretty rare, if at all. However you can get about 12% off everyday:
a) Go to www.cashrewards.com.au and buy a Woolworths WISH e-giftcard at 5% off
b) Now use the www.cashrewards.com.au website to go to Dan Murphys, and make your purchase - you'll usually get about 7% cashback in 90 days - which you can transfer to your regular savings/transaction account once you've accumulated a minimum of $5

Not aware of discount codes from DM. The wine you refer to was on offer recently at DM for under $10.

As for saving as much as you can at Dan's, you can't go past purchasing a discounted WISH card and combining that with cashrewards. Should be able to save at least 10% with that strategy and potentially a lot more.
