My vouchers just arrived Dr R - and so did 7,931 vouchers belonging to other people - UNBELIEVABLE - I have almost 8,000 vouchers emailed to me that are not mine - plus I have the actual purchasers First Name, their email address's and the URL link to their $100 / $200 vouchers which when I input into address bar which then links straight to their voucher which I can download and print - UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody free to drop around and help me spend some of these suckers?

It's good to know you have a back up copy in-case I loose mine.

I've now got the list as well...just a bit of googling and you can see that someone has already uploaded the excel spreadsheet! My name and card number are there. Off to Woolies now to convert my paper card into a plastic version.

Now done. No one had spent mine yet. And I didn't see a whole line of people trying to enter different codes randomly to access the vouchers...at least not yet.

You might want to check yours. Seems Woolies is in the process of cancelling all of those that have already been issued. I can see that the one I had has now been cancelled.

This morning I could see the value on the card and it was still active when I had spent the value - although showing a $0 balance.

No troubles with buying a gift card with a gift card?

Sometimes there is. Some store managers are real dicks about it and refuse to do it - technically it is against the terms of the WISH card to use it to purchase another gift card. But 99% of places you wont have a problem converting them.

I wonder how good the in store video is to find the folks who used gift cards that were not really theirs. The online ones will be easy to audit I would think. Now this was a great honesty tester for 7,931 individual shoppers. Some failed others passed this test.

I agree, but I'm wondering with recent stocktake sale, short online sales etc are people missing out because they're waiting for the Groupon cards to.process, or do people just stockpile them when they come?

'Fun and games'. What happened is fairly standard for Groupon. And it wont be 2.5%. Theres the potential to double your money and we are yet to get to the matter of compensation for breach of privacy.

I doubt they intend to go after anyone. They will just re issue the cards and write off the loss.
