Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Bonus 2012 Penfolds Bin 28 with bottled red wine purchases over $150 at DM. Use code BONUS28. Valid for the next 6 days or until stock runs out.
Although I wouldn't agree with their suggested retail price of $39.95 for this item, this is a great bonus offer.

I think the terms of the offer worth noting:

'*Terms and Conditions: *$150 spend must be on bottled red wine in one transaction. Only one bonus bottle redeemable per transaction. Bonus bottle is Penfolds Bin 28 2012 vintage only, not exchangeable with other wines or vintages. Valid from Thursday 19 July to Wednesday 25 July 2018, or while stocks last. $150 spend is not available on cask, white, sparkling, rose, low alcohol wines. Penfolds Bin 28 2012, or any other category. Excludes wine receipt reward offer.'

hi guys, I've been following a long time and grabbed many a bargain (thanks!) so thought I should finally sign up ...

and I just noticed on my paypal email $50 off $149+ orders at cracka using CRACKAPAYPAL until 14 August if qaz's no minimum spend code doesn't work any more (and coincidentally this is the exact same code they used last year)

Paypal | Cracka Wines

cheers!

Welcome @toney

Good luck in dealing with the Cracka wines nightmare.

Can't seem to make this work.... I enter the code and get "Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion." even though I have $165 worth of Shiraz in the shopping cart?

Are you including in the cart the 2 for 1 special Angove Shiraz? I tried and it didn't work for me either, I guess because it's one of the "wine receipt reward offers" that are excluded from the Bin 28 promo?!

No just put in 12 bottles of St Hallett Faith Shiraz at their usual price.

FTR the Coppermine (https://www.danmurphys.com.au/produ...election-mclaren-vale-cabernet-sauvignon-2013) works out at $22.875ea after WISH/CR - throw in the Bin 28 and that is the deal of the day I would think.

Tks again Ralphy - I have previously purchased 2 doz Shadrach so these Coppermine will make excellent quaffers.

CE.. you might get it a little lower than $22.87 ;) as CR tracks at the higher ( pre promo ) price...so cash reward amount for me shows $14.38 on 6 bottles of coppermine...as usual until CR actually posts to my account, I cant count on it

You might be disappointed if you want the Coppermine to be a "quaffer". It is very heavy on the tannins at the moment and might need a fair chunk of time to soften.

You are 100% correct my friend - not only did CR calculate rebate on full value of Coppermine @ $370.80 but it also added the $39.95 Bin 28 value before calculating the 3.5% rebate - final price $21.35 - gotta love that.

Not sure these will ever come into balance (and I guess the need to offload these as secret selections etc.). I’ve put a few away to see how they go, but I wouldn’t be rushing out to buy them.

Disagree. Just because something is a secret selection does not inherently mean that there is something wrong with the wine.
