Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I think your store is mistaken! In general the St Hugo cabernet is $36.70, but the 2012 is a members only special.
Generic: https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_143871/st-hugo-cabernet-sauvignon
2012: https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_428961/st-hugo-cabernet-sauvignon-2012

That's the 2015 - not the Cellar Release which is a different listing - saw the ticket on the shelf in the Cellar Release section at $33 - note the $49.99 per bottle for the aged wines

Anyway minor point - good price!

Looks like Kohen and his store were correct. 2012 members special now showing as $33 online
Cheers for the heads up on the deal Kohen. Managed to order some before the correction.

Just collected mine, the 2012 vintage! (from Mona Vale) As Dr Ralph said, thanks Kohen, thanks Dan.
If you missed out a "bargain of a life-time" usually happens every month.

Along with the Epicure glitch it seems like I missed couple of opportunities today. But VM sent me a $25 voucher for no reason so I guess it's not all bad...

So how's this: 2017 Secret Selection McLaren Vale Shiraz on DM, Sam Kim 94 pts:
Fabulously ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, blueberry, violet, subtle spice and game aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is silky and flowing. The wine offers excellent fruit purity and vibrancy, wonderfully complemented by textural mouthfeel and spicy complexity, finishing persistent and smooth. At its best: now to 2027.

Trying to figure it out, I found this:

Fourth Wave Wines 2017 Elefante Tempranillo, Sam Kim 91 pts:
Beautifully fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, blueberry, violet and subtle spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is plump and juicy. The wine offers delightful fruit purity and intensity, backed by silky mouthfeel and fine tannins, finishing long and attractive. At its best: now to 2021

He loves those Black Doris plums !

Seems he has a bit of a standard template there... not highly inspiring as far as the standard of reviewing goes.

Ulithorne Dona, by the way, I'm pretty sure.

For those yet to use their Qantas voucher, St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz 2015 has been discounted, so after the $50 voucher comes down to $21.65/btl.
