Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

So my 6 bottles of Avatar from DM included 1 x 2011, 2x 2013, 1x 2015, and 2 x 2016. Sneaky buggers, can't see the 2011 being drinkable and suspicious of the 2013's unless they've been stored well.

Have bought other wines from this particular store in the past that were not the best. May look at returning these if the 2011 has a problem. Buyer beware.

All the clearance lines currently on Dan Murphy seem to have a price ending in .78.

The best way I can see to find them is to select the Wine Type, Wine variety you want, Browse all wine variety, sort by price, select 120/page and then use Ctrl-F to find the .78 listings on each page...

Whats wrong with the 2011?

Only some Barossa winemakers pull magic out of the hat for the 2011 vintage, it is a cool and wet year.

Cellar masters have 100 off a $219 spend use 100EOFY
Do you know which wines that applies to? I couldn't find any details and it wouldn't work on a $240 dozen when I put that in the cart - "No items in cart currently qualify for this promotional code"

Codes like this often work universally despite what it says.

Give it a try.

Thanks RB, nothing in that list I need today.
Or tomorrow, or next week, or ever.

Waiting on a less restrictive $100 code from CM or WM. When $50 codes are like confetti and half-price, or 20% or 25% or 30% are common at EOFY we need somone to make the jump to $100 off.

There's a bit of a feeding frenzy on the DM clearance lines, mostly Shiraz this week, supposedly Cabernet blends next week.
I've got 4 orders in, waiting on vintage roulette to see how much I keep and how much goes back.

Have done alright with Oakridge Hazeldenes (Pinot & Chard) under $20 during the last week and also the Ata Rangi crimson at $23 - and some old Franklin Estates - in SA

I picked up some Eden Hall Block 4 Shiraz, 2009 and 2012 vintages. And a 2012 Taltarni Cabernet Sauvignon. We have 2 DM in town, one is especially good for old vintages. Even still had Seppelt Mount Ida 2004 as their current vintage.

I tried last night to order a Qantas mystery red pack and use a voucher that I got sent with my last delivery order. but it always came up with an error with the promo code. I tried again this morning same thing. So I waited until 8am, phoned and then was on a wait queue for 15 mins before I had to rush off to work.
Just arrived home from work went on the website and of course it is now out of stock. Very frustrating!
