Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I also jumped on this and got 2 cases. One of my favourite wineries - good value for money wines, and a nice cellar door where you can grab a bite to eat and overlook the vines too.

I just grabbed 2x cases of Lake Breeze 'Bernoota' Shiraz Cabernet 2016 @ $15.40 a bottle from WD from their 30% off sale, awesome value for something this good. Also took a punt on 6x bottles of Sister's Run 'Cow’s Corner' Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2017 at $12.60 a bottle. Made by Elena Brooks and won a trophy at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show so can't be too bad!
I'd like to second this emotion, Rug introduced me to this excellent producer and this particular wine is really lovely, vanillan oak and fruit-driven plummy palate, drinking beautifully right now...

Lake breeze is definitely good value. The straight Cab is also good

Kemneys are also having EOFYS, few decent prices. I did like the 2016 Chalambar. I havent tried 2017 (2016 was great), but the Purple Hands MGS looks good also. (Mataro 54%, Grenache 24%, Shiraz 22%)

• Petaluma Croser NV - $14.95 (RRP $28) - one of Australia’s top sparklings from the Adelaide Hills
• Leeuwin Art Series Shiraz 2014 - $29.95 (cellar door $38) - "a wine that combines power and grace" - James Halliday (96 points)
• Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz 2016 - $13.95 (RRP $27) - "continues to deliver genuine value for money" - James Halliday (94 points)
• Seppelt Jaluka Chardonnay 2016 - $13.95 (RRP $27) - "intensity that brings you up with a jolt" - James Halliday (95 points)

Hi all,
I'm trying to start a little wine collection and wanted to pick this up. I just wanted to try 6 of these though. Can anyone recommend another decent wine to bring me up to the 12 so I can avail of the offer?
Much appreciated

Definitely this one for mine, value for money is insane. Otherwise ,anything Zonte's Footstep or Dandelion

Anytime! It's what the forum is for. What did you end up getting?

4 x Lake Breeze Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet
2 x Zontes Lake Doctor Siraz
2 Sisters Run Cow's corner
2 Dandelion Pride of the Fleurieu Cab Sav
2 x Zonte Chocolate Factory Shiraz

averages out at $14.46 a btl.

Tried a Longview Yakka Shiraz a couple of weekends ago (not sure of vintage) and thought it was totally slurpable, so tempting at that price to pick some up from our freshly opened store in southern Tas (only the 2nd one in the state)...

(edit) clicked on link and only got the $23.80 price per six, am I doing something wrong @chonka

Unfortunately the prices are somewhat store specific. 3 Stores within 15 mins of me and there are many cases of wines with 2 different clearance prices or wines with a clearance price at one store, and the normal price at another.
