FWIW, update on my purchase of Curtis Limited Series Maclaren Vale Shiraz 2016 from Vintage Cellars ($35 down from $100)
Sent it back.
OK quaffer, I can see their attempt at a medium body serious wine but no complexity, no fine tannins. For me and with my usual caution, and from what people are posting here, $35 should and does buy a satisfying wine. Actually disappointed in myself for being naive as I should know better than to fall for the old "was $...now $..."
Vintage Cellars were very helpful in accepting the return (of remaining 5 bottles), they arrange Aust Post to pick up from my address and full refund.

Just bought 6. Thanks Cruiser Elite! Great tip there.

Not just great, bloody great: $150 wholesale, $180 retail, Tyson Stelzer 96pts, Vivino 4.4 - it's a no-brainer must-buy :)

It is just an existing members email address. I'll have a search of the forum
They have cracked down on referrals and I cannot refer anymore - I would if I could

Only employees can refer now - and no more WELCOME50 :(

It's still there for $50.

FINALS15 will give you 15% off also so $255 for 6.

Thanks VVV, ordered now and on the way.

I Had missed the park about going to Fine Wine Co, just clicked on the link provided. Now have 12 bottles on the way. If the first one is no good they will become gifts, happy for people to google it and think I am giving a $180 gift!

No worries, I have 6 on the way. Christmas morning sorted!
