Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Nick Spencer Maragle chardonnay for $25 not bad also.

Nothing super duper compelling - I have been spending too much lately so will leave them. Ravensworth SV for $28 pretty tempting though.

A personal fav at that sub $20 level is Seppelt Chalambar, which is a blend of heathcote and grampians shiraz. Super consistent year to year, and is a great mid point in terms of not being a super heavy Shiraz but offering some liveliness and depth as well. Retails at $27 but if you're a Cellar One member it can regularly be picked up there at around $16, and if not its usually available for just under $20 if you put in a bit of effort, e.g. right now $18.99 here: Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz 2016
Looks like it is the mystery wine at Winestar here as well, to be had for $15.99
Almost the bonus point for <$15

It seems Seppelt Chalambar shiraz is an AFF favourite (for when not drinking the St Peters), I get a case each year but it is far far better with age if you can start, say, a 4+ year rotation... a Seppelt trait.

I only started drinking it around 3 years ago, but i have a dozen or so from 2016 laying down so I'm very much looking forward to testing that!

Just received the promo code "PRICEY" for $20 off vinomofo valid til 10am tmr. Unsure if targeted.

Did anyone confirm that $25 black market hunter shiraz as the 2017 De Iuliis Steven?

You can search vinomofo by the deal no, or dm under wraps by the URL. If you don't find anything, it's welcome to publish the mystery and tell everyone what it is.

There are lots of filters to refine the result. There are lots of filters to refine the result. I just post around 15 under wrap wines. Feel free to contribute what you know.

just thinking that maybe this should get a sticky post on the main page. That way it will be easily accessible and we can start to utilise it more often. I'll leave it in the hands of mods to decide.

Hi All,

Any tips for best Red wine quaffers for a lazy mid week drink - Thinking less than $20 a bottle - extra points if under $15. Have found that I have horded a large amount of fine wine (i don't want to drink yet) and don't have many bottles ready for drinking now. Any tips would be great!

Thanks.
Wynns Coonawarra range are good quaffers- 8.99 bottle for hump club members atm.

I am thinking SC Pannell Syrah?
Well spotted @Kohen. The actual names of the items aren't showing for me as they appear to be showing for others.

Just in case there is any doubt I took delivery of mine this afternoon and can confirm it's the SC Pannell Syrah.

Walshy’s wine cult mixed pack is back. I took a punt on this last time and enjoyed the wines (which are well under sticker price). Have jumped back in, YMMV but I recommend.

Is this a members-only deal? Wynns doesn't seem to be stocked at all on their website
I don’t see any online sales on their website- just a list of specials available at their bricks and mortar stores.
It was in their weekly email, and I didn’t think it was targeted as it was also advertised on FB. When I log into The hump club Page, it is there.

I grabbed a mixed 6 yesterday. Membership was free when I joined.

to answer your question, yes it’s a members only deal - it is something like $13.99 for non members

Hmmm...maybe location specific. I joined and logged in, there is no Wynns available anywhere on the site.
