Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Both Penfolds and Wynns have shipped for me. For Wynns I bought the V & A Lane, so not sure if that made a difference to shipping it earlier than some the purchased the Black Label

Lloyd Brothers on sale. Really quite good and at current prices great value. Can vouch for the Mataro, Grenache and Shiraz (unfortunately out of stock awaiting new vintage).

Have you tried to the Pinot Rosé?

Looks good. Good price on discounted wines.
Looks like to join as member you have to commit 24 bottles per year (excluding wines on specials or discounts) also it says free delivery only applies to non discounted or special wines?

I tried adding the wines without joining, it seems it doesn't goes to cart?
I can't find the cart somehow

For those unaware with a Vintec, there is free Vintec Club membership, which not only includes $100 off $500 spend voucher for Langton's, but also invitations to their @Home tastings, the next one on Wed 23rd Sept being Cloudy Bay pinot noirs, so as with Cape Mentelle, you'll receive access to Maison One, the Moet Hennessy Australia staff website

Besides chardonnay, on sale at CellarDoor.co until this Sunday after $20 welcome voucher:
  • Devil's Lair 9th Chamber Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 $45 2pk
  • Devil's Lair Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 $21.67 6pk
  • Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2013/2015 $21.67 6pk
United Cellars:
$134.99 + delivery includes:
  • Head The Brunette Shiraz 2018 - GW/JH95, JO94
  • Head The Blonde Shiraz 2018 - GW/JO/JH95, RD18.75
  • Head Red Shiraz 2018 - JH96, GW93, RD18

That would be me, I wanted to give everyone here a chance to purchase first. I can't see them cancelling these orders. There's no pricing error, and the $25 coupon for first time users is a long-running offer.

In theory, nobody should have an issue with deals from here being shared elsewhere - this is a public form with information freely available

In practice, there are three things to consider:

Consequences

As you mentioned, it was a long-running offer, however, unfortunately, any with no minimum spend/order requirement is always eventually cancelled/withdrawn/modified soon after appearing on OzBargain due to popularity or overuse/abuse

In this case, TWE has now apparently implemented a $100 minimum spend, which is obviously not as attractive or appealing for new customers

Hopefully birthday vouchers and CellarDoor.co will not be similarly affected

Timing

Again, given that it was a long-running offer, but there was the potential for orders to be cancelled due to the above consequences, waiting for members here to receive dispatch notifications before posting about it on OzBargain would have been preferable

Hard to win on this front - if you acknowledge AFF, then you get threatening messages asking why you're letting the genie that is AFF out of the bottle. If you don't acknowledge AFF, then you get posts like this.

A whole bunch of people have got some great wine at a great price during a difficulty period in time. Yet, many are still somehow unhappy.

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered a doz of the grenache - good reviews on vivino. Postage was free $149.88 all up.

So qaz, for those of us still catching up - to gain access I need to sign up for one of the @home tastings - then that's it - they automatically send a link to sign up to Maison One?

Where on the site do I register for the @home tastings? (I can only find private tastings) on the partner benefits page it only shows Riedel, Langtons, Scotch Malt Whiskey society and OENO app

They did make it pretty obvious:
A flagship wine from one of our Clare Valley favourites. A region synonymous with aromatics whites like Riesling, the same climatic conditions produce elegant reds like today’s Wildcard.
Big on bling, there’s plenty of elemental material to celebrate, fittingly a winner of five Gold and two Silver Medals, no Bronze, however there’s a bit of Copper about – not to mention 92 points from Steven Creber at Halliday Wine Companion.

Doesn't sound too shabby to me....

WYNNS being honoured albeit with a delay. Thankfully:

Due to an increased volume of orders, there is currently a slight delay in the shipment of your order.

Your order will be shipped by the end of this month, and will be delivered via Australia Post in line with their current delivery timeframes which can be found here.

You may also experience a split delivery of your order, however you can expect your complete order to arrive within a few days of the first delivery.

To note, you will receive a shipping notification from Wynns and Australia Post when your order has been shipped. Please allow 10 working days for delivery.

Thank you for your patience, we will keep you updated if there are any further delays expected. If you have any questions regarding your order, please contact us.
Might be something as simple as waiting for more gift boxes, as the black label was gift boxed, highly doubt they would redo labels. I don't think that would be viable. Nice email anyway, as they could have just cancelled orders. At the end of the day TWE may pick up future sales from these 'samples' so could still be seen as a positive for sales. I'm sure they are willing to try in the current climate.

Under the concierge services tab to book private tasting @ home. But I would think it is too late to order the home bundle now? as its generally a two week cut-off date.

Been a decade or so since I tried it last but I remember being a fan. At $30 it's likely awesome value
